00:00 Pep Lindsay's Liverpool assistant manager has just suggested me he's ahead of tomorrow's Carabao Cup game against Leicester City in the third round of the competition.
00:08 Of course Liverpool are nine-time record champions of the competition. They'll be hoping to go far again. Obviously Liverpool's squad is really strong this season.
00:17 Pep Lindsay has said that Liverpool will be making changes of course. That's always a given in the early rounds of the Cup competitions, especially this one.
00:25 He said they're going to win the game. They'll feel as a team that they believe can win the game.
00:31 So probably similar to that team that beat Lask in the Europa League.
00:35 There are quite a few players in the squad who are expected to feature.
00:39 Ben Tote of course, the exciting 17-year-old winger. A lot of people are really looking forward to how he develops at Liverpool.
00:46 He said he's only young so nothing to give him. Pep Lindsay said he actually reminds him of Mark Overmars and Arjen Robben from his homeland of Holland.
00:55 A winger who stays wise on the right and wants to get to the byline, which is certainly very exciting for Liverpool fans to hear that.
01:04 He needs to keep his head down. He's got the senior mentors around him like Samoan Salah and Andy Robertson of course, fellow Scots.
01:11 Other players he discussed was Kevin Keleher. It was actually funny because there was a lot of speculation over his future in the summer.
01:19 The Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny said he expected Keleher to leave.
01:24 First of all, Pep Lindsay said he's got a contract and he said he's a world-class goalie.
01:29 JĂ¼rgen Klopp had conversations, he gave him perspective on where maybe games were going to come this season.
01:35 He said he calls him a world-class goalie. Really impressed with what he's seen from him in training.
01:42 We'll see him in goal tomorrow night.
01:44 Stefan Persezic, another one who plays right back against Laska in the Europa League, which was a little bit of a surprise.
01:52 We know he plays as an in-base right back and Pep Lindsay said no-one's like Trent Alexander-Arnold to get Persezic's games.
02:02 He is good on the ball in the middle of the park.
02:05 In terms of team news, Trent Alexander-Arnold has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury.
02:11 He's back in full training now but this game comes too soon for him, Pep Lindsay said, so Trent Alexander-Arnold won't be involved.
02:19 Thiago Alcantara, we haven't seen him since April after he underwent hip surgery.
02:23 He's not still training yet. He's doing some exercises on his own with the ball on his feet but too soon yet.
02:29 It sounds like Thiago, who Pep Lindsay says Liverpool rarely miss, is still a couple of weeks away.
02:36 Those were the main talking points and now all eyes are on Leicester and the Carabao Club.
02:40 There's rounds at Anfield tomorrow.
