00:05 Hugh Jackman's estranged wife, Deborah Lee Furness, spoke out for the first time since
00:10 the news of their split after 27 years of marriage.
00:14 The actress shocked Australian radio hosts Kyle Sandulans and Jackie O'Henderson of the
00:18 "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" when she answered a cold call on Monday.
00:22 "We have actually called you by mistake, it's ridiculous," Sandulans told Furness, according
00:27 to the Daily Mail.
00:28 "We didn't mean to actually call you.
00:31 But now you're here, we won't go into it.
00:33 We love you, we hope you're well."
00:36 Furness didn't appear bothered by the interruption as she simply responded, "Thank you guys,
00:40 I really appreciate it.
00:42 You're really sweet."
00:43 "I just feel it's too soon," Sandulans added.
00:46 "I don't want to get involved in anything.
00:49 But we love you, and you ring us when you want to chat."
00:52 The Australian actress echoed her appreciation before hanging up.
00:56 The X-Men star, 54, and Furness, 67, made headlines earlier this month when they announced
01:02 their separation.
01:03 "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a
01:08 wonderful, loving marriage," the exes said in a joint statement to People.
01:12 "Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual

01:18 The former couple, who share two children, added, "Our family has been and always will
01:22 be our highest priority."
01:24 Days later, Jackman briefly addressed the split when he was approached by a cameraman

01:29 "I don't feel quite right talking about it on the street," the actor said at the time.

01:39 Despite calling it quits, Jackman and Furness have maintained constant communication as
