00:02 The RS, the Niners, a perfect 2-0 to start this year as we shared in our previous segment.
00:08 One of the nine remaining unbeaten teams left in the National Football League.
00:13 And by the odds as you see on your screen, Donnie,
00:16 it seems as though San Francisco is going to roll to a perfect 4-0 record.
00:21 Both of their opening two victories where they scored 30 points came on the road in Pittsburgh and
00:27 in LA depending on where the number landed for the Niners.
00:31 They're either 1-1 against the spread or 1-0-1 against the spread,
00:37 courtesy of a late Sean McVay led Los Angeles Rams field goal.
00:41 But a 10 and a half point favorite tonight, DRS, at home against the Giants.
00:45 The early look ahead line to next week, a divisional matchup against the Cardinals,
00:50 who are a perfect 2-0 against the spread, by the way.
00:52 They are north of a two touchdown favorite.
00:56 So DRS, what does that say to you about the San Francisco 49ers as we get ready for week number three?
01:02 Yeah, they should roll tonight is what it says.
01:04 And if anybody was looking at that graphic, the guy on the graphic, Christian McCaffrey, probably licking his chops.
01:08 Now, here's the interesting part. It's a Thursday night game.
01:11 If we take a look on the season for the 49ers, 173 rushing yards per game, 5.6 yards per carry, which is ridiculous.
01:20 How does that line up with the Giants? 136 yards per game.
01:23 They give up in 4.6 yards per carry.
01:26 It's a match made in heaven. But we'll break this down a little bit further.
01:29 McCaffrey has gotten so many snaps over the first two weeks,
01:32 which is kind of incredible with Kyle Shanahan, as he always wanted to have.
01:35 Hey, let me get more of a backfield split. We're going to need to ride McCaffrey down the stretch.
01:38 And of course, you want him healthy for a playoff run.
01:40 He's a dynamic player, probably the best running back now in football with Nick Chubb out.
01:44 But having said that, you just got a lot of carries on Sunday.
01:48 Now you're playing on Thursday. Are we going to see him get 20 plus carries in this game?
01:52 Or does Eli Mitchell step up? Because it's pretty easy to take a look at his numbers.
01:55 Say, yeah, McCaffrey for over 80 yards rushing. Sign me up for an anytime touchdown,
01:59 which he's done 11 straight games here. That would be easy.
02:01 But I'm interested to see how they use the backfield tonight, being a Thursday night football game.
02:05 And also, Ben, it's not a Thursday night football game against the Cowboys,
02:08 where you really need to put this team away, need your best effort.
02:11 It's the Giants limping into this.
02:13 They can probably get away with a little bit less carries for Christian McCaffrey.
