00:03 The event organized to celebrate the first 20 years of activity of the largest point of sale
00:10 located at the gates of the capital was held within the outlet of Castel Romano.
00:13 A historic achievement achieved thanks to the continuous growth that the McArthur Glenn Center
00:18 as a point of reference for fashion trends and the experience of quality shopping in Rome.
00:23 A moment of celebration that Castel Romano and the group McArthur Glenn
00:27 have chosen to celebrate through the presentation of two projects.
00:30 That of the Oasi affiliated to WWF of Castel Romano that will be inaugurated next spring
00:35 and that will see the environmental re-qualification of an area of 11 hectares where in the past there was a discharge
00:41 and the Fashion Inside project that tells the fashion starting from an exclusive BWA/DOXA survey
00:46 on the choices of consumption of Italians.
00:48 More than 20 years ago we introduced the concept of designer outlet, an innovative concept
00:54 that certainly starts from what is the core business, that is, the possibility of finding
00:59 within our designer outlet premium luxury brands at discounted prices
01:04 that come from collections of previous years.
01:07 So it's a place where you can do shopping, so certainly focused on physical retail
01:13 but where you can certainly entertain yourself and spend a pleasant day with family and friends.
01:19 Promoted by the first McArthur Glenn observatory, the search for the title 2003-2023 Fashion Inside
01:26 has investigated the role of fashion, its perception, the memory of the iconic moments of two decades
01:31 trying to analyze the point of view of Italian consumers on the function that over the years
01:36 has had for them the style.
01:38 A study that completely and in detail traces the change of opinion of the generations.
01:43 The research aims to take a picture of what are the attitudes towards fashion,
01:49 shopping and to somehow reconstruct those that have been the last 20 years of style,
01:56 what were the icons that have somehow marked the way of dressing and fashion in general
02:04 with which Italians have tried to interpret the world of clothing.
02:09 It emerged that the physical retail is certainly more and more preponderant,
02:14 but what is taking on a definitive and significant role in the choice of consumers
02:19 is the social impact that consumers see that the companies impose,
02:25 so everything that has to do with the environment of sustainability.
02:28 Sustainability is certainly important and relevant even when we talk about shopping
02:33 and when we talk about clothing, it is most likely led to live the collections of previous years
02:40 as a way to reduce waste and to all the attention that is increasingly placed
02:46 for what is the composition of the materials and what you actually wear.
02:52 The photograph taken by the research reflects the aspirations and choices of the Italians in fashion.
02:58 An image of Italy found in the shots of the master Claudio Porcarelli
03:02 that enrich the photographic exhibition with the title "Fashion Inside - Icon of Style".
03:07 An open-air tour that includes 42 shots to the protagonists of the cinema and show
03:12 that will remain available to the public until October 15th,
03:15 a tribute to one of the greatest spokespersons of Italian style and glamour.
03:20 It is a tribute that we make to an Italian costume tour
03:26 where we take 40 Italian characters from our home
03:32 in their evolutionary path of fashion and costume.
03:37 It is a tribute to Castel Romano.
03:40 Usually, photographic exhibitions are held elsewhere.
03:43 To do it in a context like this is the first time for me,
03:47 but I must say that they have been so good and professional here at Castel Romano
03:52 I liked seeing it on display, I'm pleased.
