Costa Sauzal - Caves and Rough Waves onTenerife - Travel Blog
  • 7 months ago
First a warning - if you're deciding to visit the Costa Sauzal and you easily get car sick you better have have a bag handy. The road leading down to the coast is steep, narrow and super curvy. Some areas only one car can pass through. So you might need to backup to let the other car pass. I drove this street twice and got lucky twice but I can see people getting into odd driving situations.

But then again, it's all totally worth it. This stretch of Tenerife's North Coast is just beautiful - lava coast and rough waves. Fishermen turned coves and caves into little huts to sit out rain and strong winds. And you can see the Skeleton of La Matanza we blogged about earlier from down below: https://tenerife.for91days.com/more-abandoned-places-tenerife/

Highly recommended!
