With a key note from Gile Perkins of onSuper8.org the panel debated the future of Super 8 in the new digital century. Moderated by Saint John Walker of FDMX fdmx.co.uk , the panel included Jürgen Lossau of Small Format Magazine atollmedien.de/smallformat , Ed Sayer of Straight 8 straight8.net , Gabi Goubet of the Festival Tourné Monté festivalsuper8.free.fr and Peter Rozsa of the Szeged International Super 8mm Festival blog.super8mm.hu .
The industry panel was part of Cambridge Super 8 2008, the second Cambridge Super 8 film festival. It was open to the public, was free to attend and was held in the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
The discussion was open to the audience, many of whom were filmmakers and directors attending Cambridge Super 8 2008.
