00:42 What was your reaction to seeing that happen to Aaron Rodgers?

00:44 - Man, it was just like devastating, you know?

00:48 I kind of look at it like, you know,

00:50 all the hard work and all the stuff that, you know,

00:53 us guys put in and, you know,

00:56 and just to get to that moment and just, you know,

00:58 have a serious injury like that, you know,

01:01 it's kind of, I've kind of been there myself.

01:03 It kind of like, you know, takes the stuff out of you,

01:06 but a few minutes prayers, you know,

01:09 you know, I hope, you know what I'm saying,

01:10 that he'll fast and expect it,

01:11 but, you know, it wasn't good to see that happen to him.

01:15 - You think he'll try and get back out there again?

01:17 - I hope so.

01:19 I love Aaron Rodgers' game, you know,

01:21 being that he played for the Packers

01:23 since I've been in the league and just the first year,

01:25 you know what I'm saying,

01:26 I don't get to go against him,

01:27 but just love his game and like how he's approached the game

01:31 and how well of a thrower he is.

01:33 - All right, now a lot of talk about

01:34 your quarterback situation this off season

01:36 and your quarterback, Brock Purdy, who looked great again.

01:39 I think he's undefeated in games he's started and finished.

01:56 - Does it ever catch you off guard or surprise you

01:59 still considering his draft status, how good he is?

02:02 - I kind of love that it happened

02:04 'cause he ended up with us,

02:05 but you know, it's just crazy.

02:08 Like, it kind of like takes it like,

02:12 he'll be able to write his own story

02:13 going from, you know, the last week in the draft

02:15 to hopefully, you know what I'm saying,

02:17 one of the best to, you know, ever do it,

02:19 but it just like shows the poise and like his determination

02:24 to be where he wanna be and just being in the moment

02:26 that he's been thrown in

02:27 and just taking every advantage of it.

02:29 - Now, a couple of former 49ers QBs have moved on,

02:32 of course, Jimmy G got off to a good start in Vegas.

02:34 How do you think he'll do there?

02:37 - I think Jimmy do pretty good,

02:39 but as of now, you know,

02:40 the only thing I'm worried about is the Niners.

02:42 - One more, you know, I'm sure you'll express

02:44 a similar sentiment, but Trey Lance,

02:46 do you think he has what it takes to be a starter?

02:48 - I actually do.

02:49 I just think he just needs a shot,

02:51 he needs the opportunity and, you know,

02:53 let the things play out on his own.

02:54 - Now, as far as your teammates back to the 49ers,

02:58 Christian McCaffrey, you've got a bunch of guys,

03:00 yourself included, who are multi-purpose threats, right?

03:04 Do you think he has the hands of a wide receiver?

03:06 - Oh yeah, Christian got hands now.

03:08 That's why we line him up out there,

03:11 you know what I'm saying, whenever we need him to,

03:12 he can play receiver, just like we're kind of like

03:15 intangible for us, like if I go to run the bag,

03:17 he can go play the position that I played.

03:19 It's just like the, you know,

03:21 the things that he brings to this team.
