A shoplifter in Northumberland has been jailed after police found her hiding in a divan bed base. The former Barker and Stonehouse store in Newcastle could be demolished to make way for student housing. The Sage Gateshead gets a new name.

00:17 Oliver was convicted of all 11 offences and sentenced to 48 weeks in prison.

00:29 A notice was posted on the council's website that a developer is considering the build
