00:00 Before any other news, let's first talk about the game.
00:03 Our co-anchor, Shaista Yusuf is in the newsroom.
00:06 Today, the Asian Cup is being played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
00:11 Shaista will tell you about the situation.
00:13 Thank you Mahnoor and Khalid.
00:15 So, this is a match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
00:20 It's not an ordinary match, it's a do or die match.
00:23 Because the team that wins today will go to the finals and play against India.
00:28 But if it rains, our team will be out of the tournament.
00:33 Naseem and Haris' injury is a big loss, but it's a great opportunity for the new players.
00:41 Bowling coach Mouni Malkar says that our players are very strong and know how to come back.
00:47 It's a do or die match.
00:49 There is a risk of being severely affected by the rain.
00:52 Let's find out what the weather is like.
00:54 Our representatives in Colombo, Hunain Amin.
00:56 Hunain, tell us what the weather is like.
00:58 Is the sun out or not?
01:00 We are at the Colombo city's Primadasa International Stadium.
01:05 Today, the decisive match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is going to take place.
01:09 Preparations are in progress.
01:11 The weather is such that it rained during practice yesterday evening and last night.
01:16 But the sun has risen since morning.
01:19 The weather forecast says that the rain chances are 70% from 12 to 5.
01:28 If the match is postponed due to rain, Pakistan can lose this match.
01:34 Because Pakistan's run rate is much lower than Sri Lanka.
01:38 And the young speed star Zamaan Khan is excited to debut in One Day.
01:44 He says he never thought he would participate in the Asia Cup.
01:48 But he is ready to rock.
01:50 So, Pakistan and Sri Lanka's team will face each other in the Saha match in a short while.
01:57 Both teams have very talented players.
02:00 Pakistani batters are no less than anyone.
02:02 But Sri Lankan spinners are also dangerous.
02:05 We will talk about the games later.
02:07 Our anchor, Shaista, will be with us.
02:09 We will talk about it later.

07:06 This is a very serious incident.
07:11 This is a very serious incident.
07:16 Mishal Malik is addressing the audience.
07:20 You are my Pakistan.
07:22 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:28 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:30 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:37 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:39 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:41 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:43 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:45 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:47 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:49 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:51 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:53 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:55 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:57 I am sorry to ask you this question.
07:59 You are my Pakistan.
08:01 I will extend this further.
08:03 You are my Kashmir.
08:05 You are my Kashmir.
08:07 Many people say that I have become blind since I have taken up this responsibility of human rights and women empowerment.
08:20 I have a passion and a lava within me for Kashmir's freedom.
08:26 I see Kashmir everywhere.
08:30 You can call it passion, obsession or anything else.
08:36 The millions of sacrifices that have been made in this struggle.
08:41 When we talk about identity, nationalism, knowing who you are, knowing your reason of existence in the world.
08:56 Every human being has a right to identity.
09:00 I landed on 6th September 2009.
09:29 It was a welcome day.
09:33 6th September was a symbol of sacrifices.
09:40 It is Pakistan Defence Day.
09:43 When I went there and met people, the whole city was out.
09:48 It was the first time.
09:50 When I went there 5 times, I got to know the importance of freedom.
10:01 And what is a sovereign nation.
10:04 Freedom is the biggest blessing.
10:09 There are millions of issues in Pakistan.
10:12 Economic issues, any injustice issues.
10:15 But when I went there, I felt the vulnerability.
10:20 There are more than 8 lakh Indian occupation forces.
10:25 To live in that, it is the most militarized zone in the world.
10:30 There are draconian laws, clamped ban on all kinds of communications.
10:35 There is no political freedom.
10:37 You can't even imagine doing a Pakistan identity conference there.
10:47 On Kashmir, on their history, on their freedom, on their struggles.
10:54 To pay tribute to them.
10:56 To run a movement in that kind of system, I think it is impossible.
11:02 There are many political parties here.
11:07 There are rallies, protests, leaders are arrested.
11:12 There are many things.
11:14 But imagine doing all this in an enemy country.
11:19 Where all state machinery is operating against you.
11:25 And you have no voice.
11:27 They will take all your things at any time.
11:29 When a person sees these things, their value system, their culture, their heritage.
11:36 Because heritage and culture of any nation is its identity.
11:42 And the biggest culture of terrorism that India is doing,
11:46 Kashmiris, not only their identity,
11:48 Article 370 and Article 35A abrogation,
11:52 there is genocide, day by day it is being accelerated.
11:56 And a majority of Indians are being settled there.
12:00 Imagine you are in Pakistan.
12:02 And you have an enemy country here.
12:05 And you have no army of your own, no defense, no police, no bureaucracy,
12:11 nothing, no judicial system.
12:13 They come and take over.
12:15 And they come here and settle double the population of your own.
12:19 So such a big attack has been happening on Kashmiris for 75 years.
12:25 Why is it necessary for us to go back in our history,
12:29 with what sacrifices, unity, faith, discipline, we all say this.
12:33 But the sacrifices that our forefathers made, I realize that.
12:40 I realized that when I went to Makboosa, Jammu and Kashmir.
12:43 What is freedom, what a great blessing it is.
12:46 And no one is safe in their homes.
12:49 No one's honor is safe.
12:52 When we talk about rape as a weapon of war,
12:55 this is a tool, it's a weapon, it's a gun,
12:58 used against innocent, defenseless Kashmiris.
13:02 And not just the women, not just the children, also the men.
13:07 By design, they are tortured in such a way,
13:12 that they are massacred, that they cannot even produce children.
13:17 Like third degree torture, Papa II, and many other torture centers,
13:20 are still going on there, and there are underground torture cells.
13:23 So a whole generation after generation,
13:26 sacrifices are being made, and the kind of medicines you see there,
13:32 fake medicines are given there.
13:34 In Corona, we have all seen,
13:36 they picked up ventilators from there and gave them to the Indian Army camps.
13:39 They transferred them to their cantonments, which were for the civilians.
13:42 Vaccinations are also given, food is given as well.
13:46 And the draconian laws, which are the biggest thing,
13:50 before the partition of the colonial era,
13:53 the draconian laws, which are not even in the Indian Constitution,
13:57 are also put on the Kashmiris of Ghadari.
14:01 So why are they put?
14:03 Because they are standing for their identity.
14:06 They want their freedom, their right to self-determination,
14:09 according to the UN resolutions.
14:11 So as a Pakistani, and as a wife of a Kashmiri Hurriyat leader,
14:16 it is a huge responsibility that I, in my own country,
14:21 various narratives are going on, because I am an interim set-up,
14:25 and I don't get much time in internal issues,
14:28 to focus on what is happening in Pakistan.
14:31 But one thing I want to say, from this platform,
14:35 that the real meaning of freedom is only the freedom of Kashmiris.
14:40 There is nothing more than that.
14:43 Because the meaning of freedom,
14:46 can only be justified by the Kashmiris' movement.
14:51 And no one else can.
14:53 You were freed by Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
14:56 The Pakistan movement was running, you are a Pakistani,
15:00 you will have many issues here,
15:02 but your biggest identity,
15:05 may Allah never let you see that day.
15:08 And in my life, I think,
15:11 it was a turning point, Mr. Mateen knows from there,
15:14 that when I used to go to meet my husband in the jails,
15:18 so I would be taking my daughter with me,
15:21 because she has a lot of work on this,
15:24 so she was a child, hardly two years old.
15:27 So I went to the jails,
15:29 because I have a very deep relationship with the Kashmiris.
15:32 So the way the body of the child was searched,
15:36 that was tortured,
15:38 it was so painful for me, as a parent,
15:41 that it was my turning point.
15:43 People often ask me, what was your reason,
15:45 that you were so much against Kashmir?
15:48 So when you get hurt in your home,
15:50 and you feel very vulnerable,
15:52 and there is an enemy army there,
15:54 you will scream, don't kill your daughter.
15:57 They are throwing her pampers,
15:59 pulling her hair,
16:01 trying to sexually harass her,
16:03 a small girl,
16:05 every child is treated like this.
16:07 We are a conservative society, I had to speak up.
16:10 Because I, no doubt,
16:12 apart from being conservative,
16:15 many things are taboo,
16:17 but in regards to Kashmir,
16:19 until we don't tell the atrocities of our homes,
16:22 how will we give hope to other victims?
16:25 I had to speak up.
16:27 I had no shame if you are being treated unjustly.
16:29 You should speak up, expose your perpetrators,
16:32 your occupiers.
16:34 So that was the moment, after which I said no.
16:36 I have to get up.
16:38 My mother played a major role.
16:40 I came back and said, stop crying.
16:42 Become a voice for the Kashmiri women,
16:44 children, for the cause, for your husband.
16:47 And now the second time I have come,
16:49 I have accepted this portfolio,
16:52 because Yasin Sahib's hanging case is coming up,
16:55 my husband's,
16:57 and along with that,
16:59 there are other Kashmiri political prisoners.
17:01 So under this portfolio,
17:03 internationally,
17:05 wherever possible,
17:07 I have to address the Kashmir cause,
17:09 and women issues,
17:11 and the human rights issues in Pakistan.
17:13 But equally, I have a heavy burden on my shoulders,
17:17 which I have to try to carry,
17:19 in terms of human capacity,
17:21 and our team,
17:23 and the 25 crore people who are with you.
17:26 It's time for an egg break.
17:29 Welcome back.
17:38 The case of Saifar,
17:39 whether the chairman of PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi
17:41 will be granted bail or not,
17:43 is still pending.
17:44 Under the Official Secret Act,
17:46 the judge of the Special Court,
17:47 Abul Hasnaz Zulkarnain said in a remark,
17:49 "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs collects the Saifar,
17:51 the Saifar came and went.
17:53 This is the Saifar case."
17:55 Rana Sanawullah's statement,
17:56 is with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
17:59 Whether Section 5 and 3 is applicable or not,
18:01 the Saifar case is all on this.
18:04 The judge questioned,
18:05 the document that came to the Prime Minister,
18:07 whether it was returned or not,
18:08 this is the case.
18:09 The chairman of PTI,
18:10 lawyer Barrister Salman Sabtan said,
18:12 "My case is this,
18:13 the Official Secret Act does not apply.
18:15 This Saifar case does not become a single person.
18:18 In this case,
18:19 the entire Cabinet will have to prosecute."
18:21 The Saifar is not with the chairman of PTI.
18:23 As of now,
18:24 nothing has been recovered from the chairman of PTI.
18:26 How did the prosecution find out,
18:28 that the Saifar was real?
18:29 This is the real Saifar.
18:30 What is the name of the country,
18:31 whose enemy benefited from the Saifar?
18:33 Please tell us.
18:34 The chairman of PTI is not a spy,
18:36 he is a patriot of Pakistan.
18:38 The crime is to share sensitive information
18:40 from the enemy country.
