Transcript
00:00 It is expected that the barangay and the province will be closer to the security and peace in Quezon City.
00:08 This is after the distribution of 200 body-worn cameras that will be used during the election.
00:17 The center of the news is from Joshua Garcia.
00:20 Almost 200 body-worn cameras were officially turned over by the QCPD today.
00:27 The police are now in charge of their barangay and the province's security preparation for the 2023 elections.
00:33 The activity was led by QCPD Active District Director Police Brigadier General Rodrigo Maranan
00:39 and other senior officials.
00:41 According to Maranan, they will do everything they can to maintain the green category of the city,
00:47 especially in the upcoming elections using the so-called equipment from the local government of Quezon City.
00:53 The body-worn cameras, drones, and our very high-tech command centers are all here.
00:59 This is a big help for us to maintain the order and peace of the Quezon City Police District.
01:06 Maranan also assured that the QCPD is ready for the upcoming BSKE when it comes to security and peace
01:12 through technology and improving the visibility of the police.
01:16 We have 100% all systems going on. We had a regional joint security control center meeting yesterday
01:26 in the regional office and we laid out our security preparations there.
01:31 Maranan called on his colleagues in the organization to continue their duties for the benefit of the people.
01:38 I always tell them, whenever I talk to them, we must show respect to everyone.
01:45 If we show respect to everyone, you can never go wrong.
01:50 You can never do anything wrong because you are respecting the people.
01:54 Joshua Garcia, for the people.
