Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a man in Llanelli. A specialist Police unit were called to the scene on Sunday after the incident in Maestir which happened in the early hours. Police warn of increased presence in the area, and are appealing to the public for information.

Over 1,000 people took part in a mass dog walk in protest of the animals being banned on a beach in Conwy. The council have banned them from one strip between Rhos on Sea and Colwyn bay, with 3 more areas being proposed, for hygiene reasons, with some dog owners saying only a tiny minority don’t pick up their dog mess.

Campaigners are fighting for a restoration of the sandy beach at Llandudno beach to help encourage tourism to the area. 50,000 tons of rocks were dumped on the beach as part of flood defences in 2014, with opponents saying its negatively affected the town. The council are set to review the situation.
