00:00 Melissa and Rita here with 2 Chainz joining us on behalf of Amazon Music. 2 Chainz, so let's get
00:06 right into it. You're an Atlanta Hawks fan if I'm not mistaken. There are rumblings that Trae Young
00:12 may not be happy in Atlanta. Do you think the Hawks are doing right by him right now?
00:16 I don't think it's my place to speak on that. You know, I'm a Trae Young fan. I'm a Hawks fan
00:23 and whatever, if anything is going on, I hope it's figured out because we enjoy seeing him
00:29 play each and every night. And yeah, we need that. We need that energy. We need that score
00:37 and we need those assists. You know, we need that. Alright, do you think the Falcons hit
00:43 their over the season? They're at eight and a half wins in most sportsbooks.
00:51 They might win nine. Yeah, yeah. I like that. I was going to say what my cousin was telling me,
01:00 say man, they're going to win nine or ten games. And I was like, okay. So it's funny that I had
01:07 this. I had this conversation already where we talked about them maybe winning nine or ten games.
01:13 So I'll go for the over. Terrell Owen says when he's working out, he has to have your music come
01:18 through his headphones. So how does that, how do you feel about that comment? That's a high praise.
01:24 Yeah, I mean, that's one of my buddies from, you know, that old 49ers team. I always thought
01:33 T.O. was a phenomenal athlete. He obviously takes care of himself, you know, inside and out. Great
01:41 dude. I was able to catch up with him. Where did I just go? At the Espies. I actually saw him at
01:48 the Espies. So that's news to me. But I'm appreciative, very appreciative. Shout out to T.O.
01:56 Big number 81. We know Damien Lillard. He's usually the poster child for an athlete that
02:02 can rap, at least recently. What are some other athletes you think have a couple of bars?
02:07 I know for a fact Kevin Durant can spit. KD can spit. We just saw,
02:16 I just saw a video of Shaq and a video going hard. I know Steven Jackson has bars who used to play,
02:25 but I know currently it's actually a couple guys in the league that actually
02:31 have a hobby of recording. And the couple that I have heard sound pretty good.
02:40 So tell us more about your collaboration with Amazon Music.
02:45 I'm with Amazon Music Live. We have a great relationship together. We've been dating for
02:51 a couple of years now. Dating? Yeah, we have a great, I would like to call it dating,
02:56 like a relationship because we see eye to eye on a lot of things. And they've been very
03:03 instrumental in supporting me and my endeavors on and off the grid. You know, my music, you know,
03:12 other businesses that I'm tied into. And so last year was my first time. Well, this was the,
03:17 last year was the first time that this was even brought to light and to fruition. So I was happy
03:24 to be someone that was a part of the introduction. Now, you know, moving on to the second year,
03:29 I consider myself the go-to, someone who's going to bring, you know, the energy, the entertainment,
03:38 the impact, the influence. We having a great lineup of performers, of performers this year,
03:46 right after Thursday Night Football. And so just that transition and that merging of sports
03:52 and music is very exciting for me because I'm an avid sports fan. And so just being in the mix
03:59 and a part of all that just, you know, gives me great comfort and just the alliance that I have
04:04 with Amazon. It just, it just feels, it feels natural. All right. Thank you so much for joining
04:09 us 2 Chainz. It has been an absolute pleasure. All right. Thank you for having me.
