00:00 - So Jared, just start off, defensive performance,
00:02 you guys again, maybe had some issues against the pass,
00:06 but you've been with Stonewall against the run
00:08 for the most part.
00:09 So your evaluation on both sides,
00:11 pass defense and run defense.
00:13 - I feel as if when we come out,
00:20 you need to start a little bit faster.
00:21 That'll probably prevent a lot of those pass yards
00:23 from being put on the board.
00:25 As far as the run goes, just playing aggressive up front.
00:30 That's what shows up.
00:32 That's right, I can't talk.
00:34 Excuse me.
00:35 Less rushing yards than passing yards.
00:36 We'll continue to push forward,
00:38 change that around, be stout on both ends.
00:41 - Is the pass rush where you guys want it to be at?
00:47 - No, we can always make more plays there.
00:57 - What else can you guys do better defensively?
01:01 - Just make more plays in general.
01:02 More plays on the ball, more plays in pass rush,
01:04 more plays in the run game, just overall.
01:08 - Where's your comfort level at that bandit position
01:12 right now?
01:13 - I'm pretty comfortable.
01:13 - What do you try to read out there
01:17 just as far as run, pass, just in that spot?
01:21 - Depending on the play, call, my keys,
01:23 my pass dropper, my pass threat,
01:26 if I'm rushing, who I'm rushing against,
01:28 where the quarterback is,
01:28 but most of my keys based on the play.
01:30 - Is it a two hour break hard for a defender?
01:35 You guys sort of crank up and then have to back down.
01:40 - I think that two hour break is hard for anybody.
01:43 You get all warmed up.
01:45 That was right in the middle of the second quarter.
01:47 So you're out there and then the next thing you know,
01:49 you're inside for, I don't know how long we're inside for,
01:51 but it's just not the best.
01:54 But we got warmed back up, came back outside more explosive.
01:58 So I'm proud of that.
02:00 (laughs)
