00:13 Wolf vs. Elk A resident accidentally noticed the battle
00:25 and filmed it with a drone. Despite the obvious difference in size, the wolf suddenly appeared
00:31 from the forest and attacked the elk standing in shallow water. A long fight ensued between
00:36 the animals. The elk fought off wolf attacks and tried to hoof it, yet the predator managed
00:41 to get close to the victim and claw at its leg. A couple of minutes later the elk managed to get
00:46 away and tried to leave, but the wolf kept up and ran after the intended victim. Eventually,
00:51 the elk managed to get to deep water, where the tired predator did not dare go. Adult elk are
00:57 hunted only in packs, so it is unclear what the wolf was hoping for in our case.
01:02 Now there are the mustangs or wild horses, the symbol of the American wild west. There is a
01:16 strict hierarchy within wild horse society, and it is dangerous to be elected on such a social
01:22 ladder. The main male always serves as the protector of his group. It conducts constant
01:27 patrols, searching for males who wish to mate with its mares. If another male is keen to join
01:32 the herd, it's not so easy. The stallion leader will make life very difficult for it because it

04:02 thing for it is to pass on the winning genes to the future offspring. Males can weigh up to 680
04:07 kilograms, which makes them the largest terrestrial predators on Earth. Though these predators seem
04:13 clumsy, it is a well-known fact that a grizzly can outrun even a horse at a short distance.
04:18 I never saw a clear winner in this fight. And this is a small battle between a bear and its
04:31 cubs against the wolves. In this footage, you can see how the brown bear family was surrounded by
04:36 wolves, who were not just attacking and surrounding the cubs, but also protecting their young. The
04:42 mother was in quite a quandary about whether to continue on despite the wolves or to go back,
04:47 where a male was waiting who could easily attack the cubs. The wolves hid in the bushes during the
04:52 fight, and the cubs stayed together near their mother. The wolves managed to bite the mother
04:57 bear several times, but the fight did not turn into a serious attack. The bear family continued
05:03 on their way. The cubs crawled out of the bushes and began to play, and it is good that no one was
05:09 hurt. Let's start with a heartbreaking situation. A large anaconda strangled a baby calf. People
05:20 just didn't have time to come to the rescue. The cow, which found its baby, tried for a long time
05:25 to shake it with its muzzle, but it did not help it. People at that time tied the anaconda with
05:30 ropes and tried to drag it across the river, but it looks like the cow realized what had happened,

06:49 but it looks a lot like a viper. And after all, the little white heron is a pretty rare bird
06:54 that happened to get bitten by a snake. It must have been hunting toads too. I'm sure the snake
06:59 didn't attack first, but was just defending itself, for such a big bird was certainly out of
07:04 its depth. Clawing its sharp fangs into the wing, the viper was not going to let the poor bird go.
07:10 The white heron defended itself as best it could and even pecked the snake in the head,
07:15 but there was little result. In the end, the heron managed to escape, or rather,
07:21 it was just let go, after which it crawled to shore with a wounded wing. I think that it will
07:26 not be able to survive because it has received the fullest dose of deadly poison. In previous
07:32 episodes of Battle of the Animals, we have already seen what a successful hunter the hungry jaguar
07:38 is. It can easily track down even a crocodile, attack and stay in this fight as a winner.
