Cast of 'Breaking Bad' reunite on picket line in solidarity with Hollywood actors strike

Yet another week brings even more celebrity-packed picket lines, as the cast and writers of 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul' join the protest.

00:12 We're here at Sony. This is the studio that produced our shows.

00:16 And it is done specifically to be here, to let them know that we're here.

00:22 And we're raising our voice.

00:24 We're not making them the enemy.

00:26 They are not villains. These are people that we all will be working with once again at some point.

00:32 We just want them to see reality and fairness and come back to the table and talk to us.

00:40 We may find that we have much more in common than they realize.

00:46 The AMPTP is focused on making a lot of money by way of our art.

00:50 We want to make a lot of art and hopefully make some money at it.

00:55 So they're looking for a bottom line.

00:58 So when they see red ink at the bottom, they want to cross that out by laying off people by any means necessary.

01:05 Their attempts to instill AI as a normal operating procedure is literally dehumanizing the workforce.

01:15 It's not good for society. It's not good for our environment.

01:20 It's not good for working class families.

01:23 It's just not good.

01:28 I don't get a piece from Netflix on Breaking Bad, to be totally honest.

01:34 And that's insane to me. You know what I mean?

01:37 Like, shows live forever on these streamers and it goes through waves, you know.

01:46 And that's just one of the things that we're fighting for.

01:49 And so you're feeling optimistic then?

01:51 I think so, yeah, because we're not going anywhere.

01:53 So they got to do something, you know what I mean?

01:56 So I'm feeling very optimistic.
