00:00 These people went on safari trips expecting a good time,
00:03 only for it to turn into some of the most horrifying experiences of their lives.
00:09 This clip introduces us to some tourists on a safari.
00:12 All seems to be well, but as you know, in the wild, that can change in an instant.
00:29 These people have been lulled into a false sense of security as they follow some elephants around,
00:35 coming across absolutely no danger up until this point.
00:38 Until the danger walks right into their path.
00:42 While these people have kept their eyes fixated on an elephant in the distance,
00:56 another one manages to sneak up on their little party from the side.
01:00 This elephant in particular seems extremely agitated, and that is never a good sign.
01:07 It charges straight at the jeep in an attempt to scare these people off,
01:21 but you can tell that this safari guide has been in situations like this one several times.
01:26 He doesn't move an inch, prompting the elephant to turn tail.
01:30 A word to the wise, if an elephant is fanning its ears and charging at you, it's bluffing.
01:45 If it isn't, you're dead.
01:47 This group has had their safari trip go off the rails a little.
01:51 Not only have they been forced to stop,
01:53 but now they find themselves in the path of an aggressive bull elephant.
01:56 The giant seems more determined than curious as it starts walking directly towards them,
02:07 staring them down.
02:09 I would hate to be in these people's shoes.
02:12 [Bull elephant sounds]
02:22 After stopping for one moment, the bull continues to stomp forward,
02:26 and you can feel an ominous chill in the air.
02:29 This bull does not seem scared of these humans,
02:32 and what happens next is a perfect demonstration of its murderous intent.
02:38 [Bull elephant sounds]
02:48 The elephant charges the group down,
02:50 with their safari guide staying calm and yelling at the angry giant.
02:54 The elephant seems to be bluffing with its charge,
02:57 but that could easily change very quickly.
03:00 [Bull elephant sounds]
03:10 Fortunately for these people, they live to see another day.
03:14 This family was out on a safari,
03:16 enjoying the sights and meeting some wonderful animals,
03:20 before they found their car invaded by a pack of camels.
03:24 [Camel sounds]
03:30 [Camel sounds]
03:34 The camels seem extremely curious about what kinds of food these people have on them,
03:40 and they've made quite the mistake in feeding them.
03:43 [Camel sounds]
03:53 Not only are the camels more focused on the car now,
03:56 but they are also starting to take liberties with the people.
03:59 Let me remind you, these animals have quite a nasty bite on them.
04:03 "Camera for a second."
04:04 "Ahh! Don't bite my shirt!"
04:05 [Screams]
04:07 "He slobbered on my shirt. It's got bit by a camel. I just got bit by a camel."
04:10 [Screams]
04:12 "Oh my God!"
04:13 "Hey, get out of here."
04:13 But they do not seem to be in the mood to attack right now.
04:17 The people are trying to get out,
04:18 but it's no easy task with the animals sticking their heads in the windows.
04:23 "We gotta go see the other animals. We haven't even gone anywhere."
04:28 "He slobbered all over me. Eww!"
04:31 "I'm rolling. Bye camel."
04:32 "Gross!"
04:33 Eventually, they manage to get away safely.
04:36 This man is on a safari when he meets one of the most majestic sights in the African grasslands,
04:43 a leopard.
04:44 The leopard is extremely curious and does not seem to be aggressive.
04:55 It does seem to have taken a keen interest in the man's shoe though,
05:00 perhaps too keen an interest.
05:02 "Ow!"
05:12 The leopard takes a swipe at the man's leg,
05:15 continuing to target the shoe, at one point even biting into it.
05:19 Eventually though, the leopard gets bored and leaves the tourist alone.
05:23 That being said, it most certainly left a mark on the man.
05:26 That is an experience this man will never forget.
05:40 These lucky tourists are experiencing something that not many do,
05:45 an extremely close encounter with the fastest land animal in the world.
05:49 "Come on!"
05:59 The cheetah seems to see the people as absolutely no threat,
06:03 clambering into their vehicle and even laying down to get some rest.
06:07 "Because she's so fast."
06:17 That gives the tourists the opportunity to play with the cheetah's tail.
06:23 Seriously, this woman seems too happy around its tail, at times bizarrely so.
06:28 Eventually, after having its dignity torn apart and its tail sniffed to the fullest,
06:43 the cheetah decides enough is enough and leaves.
06:48 That encounter was more weird than majestic.
07:00 If there exists one force of nature you truly do not want to be meeting on land,
07:05 it is the rhino.
07:07 "Really close to the rhino is my killer."
07:14 Not only are these brutes capable of ripping through you like paper,
07:17 their poor eyesight means they consider anything and everything that moves in their eye shot a
07:23 threat, meaning these people are in the splash zone.
07:28 "Back off!"
07:37 The rhino charges straight for this safari vehicle, but stops dead before it slams into the car.
07:43 If it had carried through with its powerful charge,
07:46 the jeep most certainly would have been tipped over, that is, until it decides to resume its offensive.
07:52 "Back off!"
08:02 This tank of an animal gets to work on the vehicle, slamming its horn into the front
08:07 of the car repeatedly before it gets spooked by the sound of the engine.
08:20 Fortunately for these people, the rhino has decided to let them go.
08:25 This group of tourists has managed to get extremely close to a lion
08:29 and lioness, and the lion does not seem very pleased about it.
08:34 The last thing you want to be doing in the wild is pissing off the king of the jungle,
08:49 but these people don't seem to be getting the message that the lion is sending them.
08:54 The lion lets out growls again and again, and these people refuse to budge an inch,
09:09 instead choosing to make a spectacle of their close proximity,
09:12 so the lion decides to make them all regret it.
09:16 "Get out of the car!"
09:26 It's up to its feet in a flash and almost charges the vehicle. That speed is unerring,
09:31 and it's certain that had the lion truly meant to attack, these people would already be dead.
09:42 [Lion growls]
09:47 Eventually, the lion sits back down, having sent its message successfully this time.
09:53 This clip throws us straight into the action with an elephant charging down this park ranger.
09:58 Except the park ranger doesn't seem the least bit phased by five tons of pure muscle charging
10:06 at him. He holds up his hand and screams at the elephant to stop.
10:10 "Oh, God! Oh!"
10:12 And miraculously, the elephant stops. During the charge, its ears had been pointed outwards,
10:22 signifying a false charge as opposed to one with genuine intent. The ranger recognized that.
10:36 The elephant continues to stare the man down,
10:39 before eventually choosing to walk away from the situation.
10:42 That ranger has a hell of a nerve. Seeing a wild elephant with an eye shot can be a sobering
10:59 experience for many, but seeing one mere inches from your face can be downright bone chilling.
11:07 [Elephant growls]
11:14 This elephant has chosen to investigate these people's vehicle, and it's doing so in a very
11:19 passive-aggressive manner. You can tell how scared these people are by their nervous glances and
11:25 hushed tones.
11:26 "Chapter...
11:31 ...chapter scared."
11:36 The giant could cause serious damage without ever really needing to exert itself,
11:41 something these people no doubt are very scared of, and for good reason.
11:45 The elephant starts straining against the vehicle in an attempt to overturn it,
11:59 but ultimately decides to leave the people alone.
12:01 [Elephant growls]
12:08 "Okay, he's going, he's going, he's going."
12:11 A practical joke perhaps? These tourists have found themselves face-to-face with a cape buffalo.
12:28 For those that think this animal poses no threat, I would suggest researching just why
12:33 this juggernaut is referred to as "the black death".
12:37 You could be forgiven for thinking that this beast wants pets, only in theory. The guide
12:51 is leaning away from the buffalo, understanding full well that though this animal is curious for
12:57 the moment, it could all change in an instant.
13:00 The buffalo kicks the car in an attempt to get closer to the driver,
13:13 and he immediately realizes that it's time to leave.
13:17 [Buffalo growls]
13:27 That was a closer call than these innocent tourists realized. Being a wildlife photographer
13:33 is a truly special job, but sometimes it can land you in uncomfortable situations like this one.
13:41 [Buffalo growls]
13:51 A female cheetah is perched on this man's spare tire, and she doesn't seem very keen on leaving.
13:57 That of course gives the man a very good opportunity to get some pictures of the feline.
14:02 [Music]
14:12 The cheetah though is very curious about what the man is doing. The man perhaps doesn't realize how
14:18 quickly these predators can move as the cheetah tries to get even closer to him.
14:23 [Music]
14:32 Luckily for the photographer though, the cheetah seems to be pretty docile. She
14:37 hangs around for a little longer, much to the delight of this photographer I'm sure.
14:42 [Music]
14:51 What an incredible encounter to have. These people were driving through a nature reserve
14:56 before they were stopped by an unexpected animal.
15:00 "See if it will reach down. Is it not to feed the giraffe?"
15:03 "What's to feed the giraffe?"
15:04 The giraffe has spotted something in the kid's hands, and it wants it. It sticks its neck into
15:10 the car and manages to get some of the food before the kid is able to pull away
15:15 directly in the direction of another incredibly aggressive animal.
15:19 [Music]
15:29 A zebra has now jumped on the Rob the Human's bandwagon and has forced its head directly
15:35 into the car. What makes this encounter dangerous, albeit seemingly funny,
15:39 is the fact that zebras can deliver quite a devastating bite.
15:43 [Laughter]
15:54 Fortunately for these people though, they managed to get out without pissing these animals off,
15:59 for the most part. This clip reintroduces us to perhaps one of the most underrated
16:04 threats in the African grasslands. An ostrich is chasing after this man and his vehicle,
16:12 and perhaps shockingly enough, it's managing to keep up.
16:15 [Music]
16:19 The ostrich attempts a strike with its beak, but the man is prepared for it,
16:24 slapping the ostrich's attempts aside.
16:26 [Music]
16:35 The men should be thankful that they kept out of range of the bird's powerful feet.
16:40 This wildlife photographer has managed to capture quite the magical encounter.
16:46 Five cheetahs in his car.
16:48 [Music]
16:58 For the most part, the cheetahs seem to be lounging in the car,
17:02 kicking back and relaxing from their day-to-day business, I presume.
17:05 [Music]
17:15 However, our photographer then proceeds to give us different angles of the cheetahs,
17:20 and let me tell you, being in such close proximity of these animals must be truly enchanting.
17:26 [Music]
17:35 Having so many cheetahs on and around your car must make for some incredible content,
17:41 and the photographer certainly doesn't disappoint with the pictures he's taken of them.
17:46 [Music]
17:59 Now that, that is the beauty of nature.
18:03 Cheetahs are usually very curious and docile creatures,
18:06 and nothing encapsulates that as perfectly as this clip does.
18:10 [Music]
18:20 This cheetah is so curious about these people that it has clambered onto their vehicle,
18:25 and has proceeded to even inspect the man closest to it.
18:28 However, what it does next causes a little alarm.
18:31 [Music]
18:41 Continuing to analyze the situation, it almost climbs into the vehicle.
18:47 The animal may be harmless for the time being,
18:49 but that curiosity can turn into aggression in mere moments.
18:53 [Music]
19:03 The cheetah bites the man's shoulder more out of curiosity than anything,
19:08 and it is due to this very curiosity that the cheetah does something
19:12 that nearly gives the people inside an early heart attack.
19:15 [Music]
19:25 I dread to think what would have happened had that cheetah panicked.
19:29 This clip introduces us to a bull elephant
19:33 that hasn't taken very kindly to these people invading its space.
19:38 [Music]
19:47 It continues to walk these people down with ominous intent,
19:52 the size difference between the people and the beast coming towards them in stark contrast.
19:57 [Music]
20:07 But the elephant does something extremely unexpected.
20:11 After walking a certain distance towards these people,
20:14 it suddenly bows down onto its front knees.
20:17 Everyone in the jeep is baffled until what happens next.
20:21 [Music]
20:31 The animal charges at these unsuspecting tourists,
20:34 trumpeting loudly in the process before being stopped by the guide.
20:38 After having sent the message it needed to send,
20:41 the giant decides to return to its stomping grounds.
20:45 [Music]
20:55 If there's one animal you don't want to mess with, it's elephants.
20:59 A giraffe may look docile for the most part,
21:02 but when these forces of nature are pissed off, there is little you can do to survive.
21:07 [Music]
21:13 These tourists are experiencing that in real time.
21:16 Being chased by a giraffe while on a safari
21:19 is not something they would have had on their bucket list.
21:22 [Music]
21:30 The giraffe seems extremely aggressive, slamming into the car,
21:35 presumably in an attempt to drive these people out of its territory.
21:39 [Music]
21:49 It even outraces the vehicle, cutting off its escape
21:52 and forcing the people to retreat in reverse until they eventually manage to get away.
21:57 [Music]
22:06 That was way too close.
22:08 This group of tourists seems to have gotten closer to this elephant herd than it would have liked.
22:14 [Music]
22:24 And it is keeping a constant eye out on their vehicle.
22:27 One small problem for the tourists though, the bull is waiting for them to pass.
22:32 They will have to speed past the angry elephant to survive.
22:36 [Music]
22:46 And so the driver puts pedal to the metal in an attempt to get past the bull.
22:51 I'm sure the tourists inside the vehicle thought they'd be too fast for the elephant,
22:55 that they'd get past it comfortably.
22:58 They were wrong.
22:58 [Music]
23:09 And yet somehow, the people managed to speed away from the elephant with a split second to spare.
23:14 Even a little connection from the elephant could have sent them all flying.
23:18 [Music]
23:29 Never, ever piss off an elephant unless you don't value your life.
23:33 These tourists have stumbled into the path of an elephant herd and you should know from the previous clip
23:39 that this can make for a dangerous encounter.
23:41 [Music]
23:51 For the moment, the elephant seemed to not pay much attention to the stationary jeep in the
23:57 middle of the path until one elephant strides directly over toward them.
24:02 [Music]
24:12 The elephant stops just before the tour guide.
24:15 It seems a little hesitant and curious and what it does next all but confirms that.
24:20 [Music]
24:31 The giant continues to check the man out from head to toe.
24:34 What's most striking about this encounter is perhaps just how relaxed the tour guide is.
24:40 Something you need to be lest you startle the elephant.
24:43 [Music]
24:54 What an encounter to have.
24:55 These tourists aren't having the best of days.
24:59 Their car is under attack by a beast you do not want to face in the wild.
25:03 [Music]
25:13 The lion seems extremely curious about the car until this lion whisperer called Kevin
25:20 tries to call it off.
25:21 The lion called Vejetsi doesn't seem too keen on that though.
25:25 [Music]
25:36 Eventually Vejetsi is distracted long enough for the driver to make an escape.
25:40 Only there's one problem.
25:42 This pride doesn't seem to want to let the man leave.
25:46 [Music]
25:56 No matter where the driver takes his car, the lion seem keen on following.
26:01 But something tells me the man doesn't have much to worry about with Kevin on board.
26:06 [Music]
26:16 It must be truly special to have the trust of a lion pride.
26:21 These rangers are attempting to transport this rhino and her calf somewhere but she's
26:27 not making life easy.
26:29 [Music]
26:39 She causes an absolute ruckus inside the truck almost crushing the men inside.
26:44 Eventually they manage to get outside and transport the tank.
26:48 Only she's still not very happy and is causing the whole truck to violently shake.
26:54 [Music]
27:04 After nearly falling off the truck, two brave rangers pick up the responsibility to open
27:09 the door and let the rhino out and it truly is a heart and mouth moment because it seems
27:15 the rhino has other ideas on her mind.
27:18 [Music]
27:28 Despite stopping for a moment, she decides to leave and take her calf to safety.
27:33 That could have ended in an extremely nasty fashion.
27:37 Safaris can be dangerous affairs and your day can really go from bad to downright terrible
27:44 if you come across a territorial rhino.
27:51 This one has spotted a vehicle and you know what rhinos do when they see anything move
27:56 within sight.
27:58 They charge.
28:03 The rhino charges directly at the safari vehicle immediately sending alarm through the ranks.
28:09 One slam into the jeep from this tank could overturn it.
28:19 Fortunately for these people though, they are just fast enough.
28:23 These locals in Zimbabwe have found their daily commute halted by two major obstacles.
28:34 These elephants are taking their time getting to their destination and have held up quite
28:40 a bit of traffic.
28:41 So in order to get things going, this man is trying to hurry them up except that elephants
28:47 don't exactly react well to intimidation attempts.
29:02 The elephant starts charging at the man and the other locals nearby sending them running
29:06 for their lives.
29:07 I don't blame them either.
29:09 I'd run too.
29:21 Luckily for these commuters though, the road finally opens up and they can go on their
29:26 way.
29:27 Lions are prideful, aggressive animals and they don't take kindly to people and animals
29:32 encroaching on their territory.
29:39 This lion in particular seems a bit agitated as it breaks into a sprint directly toward
29:45 this retreating tourist.
29:46 What comes next is extremely shocking.
29:55 The lion almost pounces on the car, stopping only at the last instant.
30:08 This man has his lucky stars to thank for surviving that.
30:12 There is one animal on the planet that is responsible for 500 human murders every year
30:18 and it's not the lion, the jaguar or even tiger.
30:22 It is the hippo.
30:26 These tourists find themselves in the path of a bloodthirsty charging hippo with only
30:31 one thing on its mind, killing.
30:34 What happens to these people next is truly disturbing.
30:42 The photographer nearly gets knocked out of the jeep and that most certainly would have
30:46 meant death.
30:47 Unfortunately for these people though, the hippo decides to let them go.
31:01 There is one animal these tourists won't ever go near again.
31:05 There is only one thing more terrifying in the wild than a charging elephant, a herd
31:10 of charging elephants.
31:22 These people are smack dab in the middle of a horrifying stampede and the bulls in the
31:27 herd are not taking these people's presence too kindly, charging at their vehicle several
31:33 times.
31:44 In perhaps the most terrifying part of the clip, the elephants start to surround the
31:48 vehicle on all sides.
31:50 The one thing these people had over the elephants was the speed of their vehicle and now these
31:55 giants have cut that off.
32:07 Eventually though, the driver is able to carve out a gap and drives the car away from the
32:11 aggressive elephants.
32:13 This man is out touring in Victoria Falls National Park and for some reason he's been
32:18 allowed out there on foot.
32:30 The stupidity of that decision is really put into perspective when he notices something
32:35 huge moving in the foliage.
32:48 A giraffe moves into view and heads directly for the man.
32:52 The giraffe absolutely towers over our seemingly innocent cameraman coming up alongside him.
33:09 Little does this man know that when giraffes get that close to you sideways, you should
33:14 be praying to all the gods that you know.
33:17 What happens next is nothing short of horrifying.
33:30 The giraffe lashes out at the man and sends him flying.
33:34 Fortunately though, he's able to escape and lives to be stupid another day.
33:38 This couple is stopped in their tracks by the tallest land animal in the world.
33:47 And it seems more inquisitive than anything, taking its time to inspect the man and his
33:52 helmet.
34:01 The man though seems understandably a little nervous.
34:04 One quick headbutt from the giraffe could easily break his neck, but the giraffe merely
34:09 seems to be checking these people out.
34:21 What a truly magical encounter.
34:24 For this clip, we travel to Sri Lanka, where these tourists on a safari come across an
34:29 elephant going about its day.
34:41 Only these tourists, instead of moving on, start moving directly toward the elephant.
34:46 The giant, unsurprisingly seeing this as a challenge, immediately takes control of the
35:05 situation.
35:06 It's a bit of a medicine when seeing the charging elephant bearing down on them.
35:20 Needless to say, they won't be doing that again.
35:23 Hippos are deceptively fast and violent.
35:27 The last thing you should be doing is underestimating them.
35:30 No points for guessing what these people do.
35:42 The hippo makes a straight beeline for their vehicle and immediately starts charging after
35:47 them.
35:48 Cue panic in the jeep.
36:00 The people scream their heads off once they realize the hippo is much faster than they
36:04 realized as it manages to keep up with their car.
36:18 These people have been given a second chance.
36:20 They would do well not to waste it.
36:22 If you enjoyed this video, make sure you check out some of the other ones that I've made.
36:27 Until next time, goodbye.
