00:31 family, was forcibly removed from the classroom by his Urdu teacher Farooq.
00:36 This drastic measure was taken upon the discovery of the religious slogan on the classroom board.
00:41 Neeraj suffered a torment of kicks and blows during his unfortunate journey to the principal's
00:46 office.
00:47 Regrettably, even within the principal's presence, Mohammed Hafeez, the principal himself,
00:52 continued the physical assault.
00:54 The gravity of the situation led Neeraj's father to admit him to the hospital the subsequent
00:58 morning.
00:59 Responding to this incident, the police initiated a first-information report against the accused

01:06 Tragically, the principal is currently evading authorities.
01:08 Both the teacher and the principal are confronting charges under various sections of the Indian
01:14 Penal Code, encompassing sections 323, which is voluntarily causing hurt, section 342 for
01:20 wrongful confinement, section 504 for intentional insult, section 506 for criminal intimidation,
01:27 along with section 75, cruelty to child, of the Juvenile Justice, Care and Protection
01:32 of Children Act.
01:33 In reaction to these events, alongside the aforementioned occurrence in Kathua, the Deputy
01:38 Commissioner issued an official notification revealing the constitution of a three-member
01:43 committee designated to conduct a thorough inquiry.
01:46 The committee consists of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Bani, the Deputy Chief Education
01:51 Officer of Kathua, and the Principal of the Government Higher Secondary School in Kharot.
