Honest AYBL Pulse collection review!  Hey guys! Today we are reviewing the Pulse collection from AYBL and comparing it to Gymshark's Ombre seamless collection! This was a well-loved collection by Gymshark, so lets do an honest review and see who really does ombre better!   MY MEASUREMENTS    - Chest: 29 in, 73 cm - Bust: 35 in, 89 cm - Bra size: 32 DDD (70F EU sizing) - Waist: 25.5 in, 65 cm - Hip: 38 in, 96 cm(widest part) - Thigh: 22.5 in, 57 cm - Calf: 15.5 in, 39 cm - Inseam: 30.5 in, 77.5 cm - Torso: 65 in, 165 cm (measured in a loop) - Height: 5’9”, 175cm - Weight: approx. 150 lbs / 68 kg (changes all the time tbh)

00:17 Today I am reviewing the Able Pulse Collection,

00:19 which is an ombre seamless collection

00:21 with the original Gymshark ombre seamless.

00:25 So I have Able's ombre in three different colors.

00:28 I have this really cute pink color,

00:29 this gray to black color, and then this blue color,

00:32 which I'm wearing the sports bra of right now.

00:34 And so I used to have the Gymshark

00:37 like peach pink ombres, ombre leggings,

00:41 and I have a bunch of video clips with me in them

00:43 that I'm gonna reference in this video.

00:45 But these are actually Gymshark dupes from Nepoagym.

00:48 So these don't have like a Gymshark logo or anything,

00:50 but I've already done videos comparing them

00:52 and they are like exactly the same.

00:54 So I will also be using this as a comparison point

00:57 just so we can really get down to the details

00:59 of who does the ombre better.

01:01 Like I said, from Able.

01:02 They're known on Instagram as BAble,

01:05 but I think the brand is just called Able.

01:07 So this collection is called the Pulse Collection

01:09 and they have a sports bra and leggings.

01:11 So I'm gonna talk about the leggings in the first half

01:13 and then I'm going to get into the sports bra.

01:15 Okay, so since we're talking about leggings first,

01:17 the price for the leggings is $36,

01:20 which actually is like a mid-range price point.

01:22 I've seen, I have a few Amazon leggings

01:24 that are actually like getting close to $30 as well.

01:26 And Gymshark's I believe was at least 45.

01:30 I wanna say more like 50 to 55.

01:32 So these are definitely much cheaper than Gymshark's.

01:35 These are also a great mid-range price.

01:37 So you still get like a little bump in quality

01:40 from like, let's say like some Amazon leggings,

01:43 but it's still a really great deal.

01:44 So for the fabrics, I'm gonna talk about Able first.

01:47 Their fabric composition is a nylon polyester elastane

01:50 and it feels very plush and thick.

01:52 It has a lot of stretch to it.

01:54 So the Able is definitely thicker than Gymshark's.

01:57 The fabric of the Able's kind of reminds me

01:59 of a Gymshark like original flex legging

02:02 or a Gymshark camo.

02:03 Both leggings have a marled texture.

02:06 So the actual leggings look very similar

02:08 when you're not like touching them,

02:09 but they definitely feel a lot different.

02:11 The Gymshark has a slightly more slick feel

02:13 while the Able's are a little more cottony

02:15 and like a thick knit material.

02:18 I don't think either one has more compression than the other.

02:20 I think both, I would give them a light compression.

02:22 And as for which one has more stretch,

02:24 I think I would say the Able has more stretch,

02:27 but Gymshark definitely isn't stiff by any means.

02:29 I would just say Able is just the tiniest bit stretchier.

02:32 So now onto the waistbands.

02:34 So the Able waistband is a double thickness

02:36 and it's ribbed in texture.

02:37 It also goes about right above my belly button,

02:40 just the tiniest bit higher than Gymshark's.

02:42 The waistband is much more tightly fitted than Gymshark.

02:45 I will insert a video clip

02:46 of my original ombre seamless from Gymshark,

02:49 but their waistbands just stretched out so much.

02:51 And I don't think they were ever like quite right

02:53 at my waist.

02:54 There's something about the Gymshark waistband,

02:56 just really didn't fit your actual waist.

02:58 It was always gaping.

02:59 And I always saw the athletes in the videos

03:01 with the waistbands gaping, wasn't cute.

03:04 The Able waistband actually tapers in a decent amount

03:07 and I haven't had any stretching out

03:09 and I've done at least three workouts in these.

03:11 Yeah, you can definitely tell that the waistband

03:13 is higher on the Gymshark.

03:14 It's a solid like centimeter or more higher,

03:17 but you can also see that on the Gymshark,

03:21 the waistband doesn't really come in very much.

03:23 It's just kind of like pretty continuous

03:26 with the side of the legging.

03:27 So you're not really gonna get much compression

03:28 and it's also not gonna taper in very much,

03:31 but there's actually a lot of tapering in

03:33 on the waistband for the Ables.

03:35 And I really didn't have any gaping for these.

03:37 So I think that's a really good attention to detail

03:39 for them because I hate when the waistbands gape.

03:42 Also, you can see a slight difference in the ribbing.

03:45 The ribbing on the Ables is a little more tightly knit

03:47 and the ribbing on the Gymsharks

03:49 is a little more separated.

03:51 The Ables are just a little bit above full length for me.

03:53 So not quite full length, but I am five foot nine.

03:56 So I'm on the taller side.

03:57 So if you're shorter, they probably would be full length,

03:59 but they're just a little bit above full length for me.

04:02 I have a video clip that directly compares

04:03 the booty contouring,

04:05 but the booty contouring on the Ables is very subtle.

04:08 You'll see in the video clip,

04:09 but the Ables just have this kind of like ribbed material,

04:12 kind of like the waistband underneath the booty.

04:16 So kind of like compresses slightly underneath your butt,

04:19 which kind of helps like lift the butt a little bit.

04:21 And that's like definitely very helpful.

04:23 I feel like without this,

04:23 you would have a lot less shape in these leggings.

04:26 And this booty contour is million times better

04:28 than the Gymshark booty contour,

04:30 which I will insert clips.

04:32 Even after I tried to pull it up,

04:34 that booty contour was in my mid thigh.

04:36 And it honestly just made my butt look saggy and not cute.

04:39 And I didn't like it.

04:40 So Able wins the booty contour,

04:43 literally million times over.

04:44 Comparison of the booty contours.

04:46 So you can see on the Ables,

04:47 the booty contour is just like this ribbed material,

04:50 kind of like the waistband,

04:52 but just below the butt.

04:53 And it just kind of squeezes your like thigh

04:55 in a little more and kind of accentuates the booty

04:57 a little bit, but nothing crazy.

04:59 And the Gymshark is obviously very much more pronounced.

05:02 They have like these little dot details.

05:04 And when it's on,

05:05 you can very much see there's a booty contour,

05:07 but you can't so much see

05:08 that there's a booty contour on the Ables.

05:10 And some of you guys have been requesting

05:12 that I show like the seams on the leggings.

05:13 And these seams actually seem pretty good quality.

05:18 I haven't had any loose stitching.

05:20 I haven't felt any tightness.

05:22 I did a leg day in these

05:23 and I didn't feel like the seams

05:24 were like restricting me in any way.

05:26 There's actually a decent amount of stretch to them.

05:28 So good seams here.

05:29 The leggings also have some nice raised detailing

05:32 all the way down the legs

05:33 and kind of connecting from the waistband.

05:36 And I've got the sides of the leggings

05:37 so you can see some of the details.

05:39 They have very similar detailing down the side.

05:41 They have kind of this raised detailing

05:43 that goes all the way down

05:45 and then into some more like complex raised details.

05:48 They just add like a little nice bit of like texture

05:50 to the legs and Gymshark has the same.

05:53 It has like a little raised detail there,

05:56 kind of goes down to these little like raised lines

05:59 and then more down to the bottom.

06:00 And they both actually kind of have

06:02 a little back of calf detailing.

06:04 Gymshark is much more prominent.

06:05 So you're definitely going to get like a lot of calf shading

06:08 but on Able, it's just very subtle,

06:10 much like their booty contour is very subtle, which I like.

06:13 It's just like, if you're looking close there's texture,

06:15 but if you're far away, there's not.

06:17 So both for Gymshark and for Able,

06:19 the logos are just kind of like a vinyl press on,

06:22 which I don't really love the vinyl press ons

06:24 'cause I felt like when I was wearing these the other day

06:26 that I just felt like these can just like peel off.

06:29 Like after you've washed them a certain number of times,

06:31 it just doesn't seem like they're gonna like stay very well.

06:34 I wish they maybe like embroidered their logo

06:36 onto the legging 'cause that just adds

06:37 like a little bit more of like a luxurious feel.

06:40 So in terms of sizing,

06:41 these come in size extra small to large.

06:44 I wear small on these and I'm a small

06:45 on basically everything about a four to six in Lululemon.

06:48 And these fit basically perfectly.

06:51 There was a tiniest bit of extra room around the crotch area

06:55 but not in a way that gave me a lot of single camel.

06:57 Like there was just a little bit of extra space,

06:59 but I felt overall the fit was really good.

07:01 It didn't have any waistband gaping.

07:03 I felt like the legs fit me very well

07:05 and it didn't feel like anything was pulling too tightly.

07:07 So are they true to size?

07:09 I would say yes, true to size,

07:10 but if you are in between, then I would size down

07:13 because these do have a lot of stretch to them

07:14 and they're just like the tiniest bit on the big side.

07:16 And all of the colors I have are exactly the same

07:19 in sizing and stretch and all the sizes were very consistent

07:23 so that makes it very easy for ordering.

07:25 So in terms of cellulite,

07:26 I would call these cellulite friendly.

07:28 They don't have any compression,

07:30 but the material is very thick and plush

07:32 and I feel like that helps hide the cellulite very well.

07:35 And it also has the marl texture,

07:36 which always helps as opposed to just a plain colored legging

07:39 and I would say they're more cellulite friendly

07:41 than Gymsharks because they do have that added thickness,

07:43 which I think helps a lot.

07:45 So my new thing for testing if something is sweat proof

07:47 is just to drop a little drip of water on them

07:49 and see if you can see it or not.

07:52 And you could definitely see the drop

07:54 when I put it on the leggings,

07:55 but the marl texture does mask it a little bit.

07:58 So I'd say these are sweat friendly, but not sweat proof.

08:01 As for camel toe, the Able leggings

08:03 didn't give me any camel toe, no single or double camel,

08:06 which is great.

08:07 The Gymshark ones have this raised front seam

08:09 and the fabric is a little thinner.

08:10 It did lend itself to some camel toe issues at some points,

08:14 but the Able ones, it was all good.

08:15 So for the booty scale,

08:17 so I give the Able leggings a medium to high

08:19 on the booty scale.

08:20 They don't have a lot of compressions,

08:21 so they don't squish your butt down in any way,

08:23 but they do have that little bit of like booty contour

08:25 underneath that kind of sucks in the area

08:27 right below your butt,

08:28 which helps just like add a little bit of extra shape

08:31 to the booty.

08:32 I wouldn't say it's like the highest on the booty scale

08:34 because with seamless leggings,

08:35 sometimes you can get like a little unibut appearance.

08:37 So not like high booty scale,

08:39 but my butt looks pretty good in these.

08:40 I was pretty proud.

08:41 And compared to the original Gymsharks on the booty scale,

08:44 these are way better because the original Gymsharks

08:47 with their booty contour that was more like a thigh contour

08:50 wasn't cute on the butt, made me feel saggy.

08:52 So, and squat test.

08:55 Let's just give a little round of applause here.

08:57 (claps)

08:58 All of these leggings are completely squat proof.

09:01 I am a major hard ass on my squat test.

09:03 Like I have a ring light, I have natural light,

09:06 I have everything and I am looking for any bit of sheerness

09:09 in these leggings all completely past 10 out of 10,

09:12 no issues.

09:13 And compared to Gymshark,

09:14 I'm just gonna show a squat test

09:16 of my old peach pink ombre ones.

09:19 And you will just see the horrible sheerness

09:21 that is those leggings.

09:22 I give them like a two out of 10 on the squat test.

09:25 Now that we are done with the leggings,

09:27 it is time to move on to the sports bras.

09:30 For the sports bras,

09:30 I'm mainly just going to go over the Able one.

09:32 I do have the Gymshark one.

09:34 This is the Gymshark dupe version.

09:36 And I'm going to compare like side by side how they look,

09:38 but I'm not going to go into like too many details

09:40 on the Gymshark one.

09:41 So the sports bras are $31.

09:43 So kind of about the same as the leggings,

09:45 just a little bit less.

09:46 Some details.

09:47 So these have about medium to high coverage.

09:49 As you can see, I'm not showing any cleavage.

09:52 The sports bra definitely has a nice scooped neckline.

09:55 I love the design of the straps.

09:57 So it has a nice little racer back,

09:59 but then it has this little cute cutout opening.

10:01 So it has this little strappy looking back,

10:04 but it still has like a decent amount of coverage

10:06 in the back.

10:06 It's not like thin straps.

10:08 Since I tend to wear my sports bras as shirts in the gym,

10:10 like I don't really wear a shirt on top.

10:12 I like to look for a sports bra

10:13 with a decent amount of coverage.

10:14 So I don't feel like completely naked.

10:16 The sports bra also has some cute detailing.

10:19 It has some of that raised detailing that the leggings have.

10:23 So they have like a few cute little lines in the front,

10:25 a few in the back, as well as some perforation details.

10:29 The sports bra is also very soft.

10:31 So first of all, it's very soft in feel,

10:33 but it's also very soft like in like structure.

10:36 There's no hard structural elements.

10:38 There's no underwires, anything like that.

10:40 And the sports bra also doesn't rub on my armpits.

10:42 Sometimes sports bras, if they're cut too high,

10:44 it can rub on your armpits,

10:45 but I have plenty of room here

10:48 and it's not doing any chafing.

10:50 So as for fit and sizing,

10:52 I am a 32 triple D and I have a small in this.

10:56 And it honestly, I could have sized down to an extra small.

10:58 It's like a little, there isn't too much gaping,

11:01 but I just feel like it's like a little bit loose

11:03 and I would have liked a little bit more compression.

11:05 If I had sized down,

11:06 I feel like I would have gotten a nice amount of compression

11:08 and this could have been like a medium support sports bra,

11:11 but because it was just a little bit big on me,

11:13 it is more of a light support.

11:15 So yeah, I would definitely say size down for this.

11:17 I already have a larger chest,

11:19 so I'm usually between small and medium for sports bras,

11:21 but this small is just a little bit big for me.

11:24 But even with this larger size,

11:25 I didn't really have any like crazy amounts of gaping.

11:28 So I'd say the fit on the sports bra is overall really good

11:31 and like it's shaped very nicely.

11:32 I have to compare the sizing

11:34 of the Gymshark sports bra to the Able

11:35 and the Able definitely has like a significant amount

11:38 more room.

11:39 So I'm gonna go ahead and continue to say size down in this.

11:43 My only complaint is that the pads are not my favorite.

11:46 They do have a nice amount of coverage,

11:47 which I really look for in a pad.

11:49 If it's too small of a pad,

11:50 it can just kind of look like a little circle on your boob.

11:53 But these, they got like a little bit deformed

11:55 in the shipping process, I think.

11:57 The first day I wore them,

11:58 one of them had like a big dent in the boob

12:00 and it just like looked like there was a big dent on my boob

12:02 and it didn't really bounce back super well.

12:05 So I'm gonna try maybe washing these and that'll help.

12:07 I definitely think that you need the pads in this bra,

12:09 especially if you got the wrong size like me

12:11 because it just does add a little bit more structure

12:14 and support to the bra.

12:15 So overall, I'm really loving these Able sets.

12:17 I think they did an incredible job of their leggings.

12:19 I wish the sports bras fit me a little better.

12:22 So I'd be like a little more confident wearing these,

12:24 like doing like a little more medium impact exercise.

12:27 But yeah, guys, I think that compared

12:29 to the original Gymshark Ombres,

12:31 Able did an incredible job,

12:33 especially with the waistband and the booty contour.
