Cycling Sheffield: Do you ride a bike or plan to buy one?

The Star's David Walsh went out to ask members of the public in Sheffield City Centre if they ride a bicycle or if they plan on buying one.

00:00 got a bike, it's a bit hilly where we live so I'm a bit too lazy to ride it but I would like to ride it.

00:07 I just don't feel motivated enough possibly. Would you consider an electric bike? Yeah, again, expense though potentially.

00:15 But I would consider that. Have you looked into the prices? I haven't to be honest with you.

00:22 But I'm assuming it's fairly expensive. So you're going to start saving? Yeah, maybe. Probably a good idea.

00:31 Because I'm dyspraxic so I can't use the bike. Just explain what that is for us please.

00:36 Dyspraxic is sort of motor neurons and coordination problems so on the bike I fall off all the time so I don't use it.

00:46 But again, if I would use it, electric bikes maybe is better and for me I wouldn't physically be able to use it.

00:58 So a car for me is more comfortable. But I like to walk. I tend to walk as much as I can. So for that reason I sort of compensate for it.
