00:00 I pride myself on just giving everything that I have.
00:03 I'm preparing to do that.
00:04 You don't just show up and do that.
00:06 It takes great preparation.
00:08 They hungry, but I don't think anybody's as hungry as me.
00:11 Being on the cover of "S.I."
00:26 goes back to my childhood
00:27 and seeing all the great athletes on the cover,
00:30 a lot of athletes that I've watched
00:32 for my whole entire life,
00:34 that I've looked up to
00:35 and had a lot of admiration for.
00:37 So to be that figure for the next generation
00:40 coming into this time, this season,
00:42 it's an exciting thing.
00:45 I put a couple of different professional athletes
00:47 on my wall as a kid,
00:48 and I have a very meaningful wall back home in my room.
00:52 And I tell my mom never to take it down
00:54 'cause I know it'll be beautiful in the end
00:56 when it's all said and done.
00:58 I've had Bryce Harper, who's a guy in this city,
01:02 when I had baseball dreams,
01:04 you know, he was a guy that I always followed
01:06 and had a lot of respect for.
01:08 Cam Newton, Mike Vick, McNabb,
01:12 you know, Johnny Manziel, Pat Peay,
01:14 all these guys were on the cover,
01:16 and a lot of them I've been able to compete against now.
01:18 So it's been a journey.
01:21 I know it's a steep price you have to pay
01:24 to have the opportunities.
01:25 Talking about the work you put in
01:27 and the determination you have
01:28 and character you have to have,
01:31 buoyancy you have to have,
01:33 all of those things.
01:34 I think music is such a beautiful thing
01:40 'cause it's fitting for every different emotion
01:42 you can experience as a person.
01:43 So I like my oldies, I like, you know,
01:45 the '80s vibe, '90s vibe, I like the new stuff.
01:49 Just try and keep it diverse,
01:51 it depends on how I'm feeling though.
01:52 Anytime I listen to Al Green, Frankie Beverly,
01:54 and Maze or the Osley Brothers,
01:56 anything that's kind of like that,
01:58 with a family vibe,
01:59 that makes me think of my dad and my mom.
02:01 Anything '80s hip hop, '90s hip hop,
02:04 a lot of those characteristics come from my parents.
02:07 AJ like, he listen to Rideway,
02:11 he don't like Young, but he like Jeezy.
02:13 He like Young Jeezy.
02:15 Anytime we work out, that's what he need to hear.
02:17 Everything about Jeezy.
02:19 Sirianni, he like the '80s vibe,
02:23 he likes Janet Jackson, Tupac, Slick Rick, he likes that.
02:28 So Lane Johnson, anytime he walk by my locker
02:31 and I'm playing Slim Thug or PMC, UGK,
02:35 or something like that, Powerwall,
02:37 oh, he gonna walk by and sing the lyrics.
02:41 So I know he's always feeling that.
02:43 That's what's up.
02:52 I don't, you know, look, people be trying to surprise me,
02:55 they don't really get much most of the time.
02:57 But this is nice.
02:58 So what is Hotel California?
03:01 Oh, the Eagles, the band?
03:03 See, I don't go back there.
03:06 (audience laughing)
03:09 You know, Coach Saban, I think, like the Eagles.
03:11 That's what's up.
03:13 - Hurts takes the snap.
03:16 He's back, he's gonna run.
03:17 He's in!
03:18 Touchdown!
03:19 J-Luke Hurts!
03:21 J-Luke Hurts!
03:22 - What?
03:23 - For the quarterback draw, scores,
03:25 and the Eagles can take the lead with the extra point.
03:28 - It takes a lot of hard work, you know,
03:30 it didn't happen overnight.
03:32 None of this did.
03:32 The important thing is just staying true to your purpose,
03:35 blocking out everybody else's opinion,
03:37 'cause it doesn't matter.
03:38 Everybody and their opinions don't deposit at the bank.
03:41 I know for me, you know, everybody has goals and dreams
03:45 and everybody wants to accomplish special things,
03:47 but the most important thing is the work
03:49 and the preparation that you put in
03:51 and staying diligent throughout it,
03:52 because there will be rainy days that sprout into sunny days
03:56 so they come together, they couple together.
03:59 - For the second time in four seasons,
04:02 the Lombardi Trophy has a red and gold reflection.
04:07 - I think for us, it was a huge learning experience
04:09 playing in the Super Bowl in Arizona.
04:12 Obviously, it personally left a fire burning for me
04:16 for more and to finish,
04:17 but it's a day-by-day thing now,
04:19 having a new team, having a new group of guys,
04:22 and really just at the point now
04:25 where we're searching for our own identity
04:26 as a new football team.
04:28 I reiterate, you know, anything that we've done in the past
04:31 will not guarantee any new success.
04:33 Will we be able to take valuable experiences away
04:37 and use those as formative experiences?
04:39 Sure, but it's a new team, it's a new time,
04:42 and we're embracing that.
04:44 - How you doing?
04:45 - Good.
04:46 - You all right?
04:47 - I'm so happy.
04:48 - I think the city of Philadelphia, it's a great place.
04:53 It's a great support system and fan base, you know,
04:56 and for a guy like myself, I pride myself on, you know,
05:00 just giving everything that I have.
05:02 I'm preparing to do that.
05:04 You don't just show up and do that.
05:05 It takes great preparation.
05:07 They hungry, but I don't think anybody's as hungry as me.
05:11 So, enjoy the ride.
05:13 (upbeat music)
05:15 (upbeat music)
