Thanks for joining us Mia, another grand final berth for the Mermaids this weekend.
00:05
How are you feeling about your chances?
00:07
Yeah, really excited. We've had a couple of really good weeks on the training track, on the basketball court.
00:11
So hopefully all of that practice can conclude Saturday night and things possibly can come out on top.
00:16
And you and Ballerina have played a fair bit this year. What are you expecting from them?
00:20
As always Ballerina will bring to us a bit of a country town rivalry in a way with the way Big B's formatted.
00:27
He's been on a lot of Metro teams so us and Ballerina always have a massive tussle.
00:31
He'll be physical, he'll be quick but hopefully it'll be a great game.
00:35
You mentioned earlier Lee Prim and the coach. What impact has he had on you girls?
00:40
Yeah, he's just incredible. He's one of those coaches that you only get once or twice in your career.
00:46
We're lucky to have had him so early on.
00:49
As a part of the Mermaids crew he's definitely pushed us all along from day dot.
00:55
We're very lucky to have had him as our coach and we couldn't be more thankful for what he's done for our whole entire group.
01:01
And are you expecting a big crowd on Saturday night? Do you girls enjoy playing in front of the home fans?
01:06
Yeah, definitely. The home crowd, there is nothing like it. We definitely have the best crowd in the league.
01:11
And that's just unreal. We can't believe that we're going to have that many people there supporting us in another home final.
01:17
So we encourage everyone to get to the arc Saturday night and cheer us on and hopefully we can come out on top.
01:22
- Good luck Mia. - Thank you.
