Guyana, the world’s fastest-growing economy,
plans to use its newfound oil and gas wealth to fund investments in other sectors that will reduce its dependence on hydrocarbons.
The Guyana wants to use the revenues from its massive offshore oil deposits to finance investments in mining, tourism, agriculture and other sectors.

Here is the layout of Maraiko Bay Resorts Megaproject being developed in Guyana. It is going to cost USD$ 1.4 Billion. CIMGRO Construction & Investment Group Inc. is the company that is spearheading the project. The project will include amenities such as world class school, hospital, shopping, PGA standard championship golf course, marina, beach, commercial property, condominium, and recreation facilities. The project size is estimated to be 30% of The size of the Capital city Georgetown.
