00:00 Hello and welcome to this week's bulletin featuring some of the stories making the headlines

00:09 in this week's 5 Free Press. The press is on sale from this morning so please do pick

00:13 up a copy when you're out and about. Our front page this week looks at the impact on the

00:19 fire cuts that are about to happen in two or three weeks. We'll be speaking to the Fire

00:23 Brigade Union about their concerns and the impact they will have on local stations. It's

00:27 one of the contentious issues that sparked a huge political backlash. We have all the

00:31 latest in this week's 5 Free Press. We also report on the King's Live Lounge Gracotti

00:36 which is a brand new initiative which will bring even more live music to town. Woodside

00:40 at the King's is an amalgamation of the King's Live Lounge and the Woodside Hotel which was

00:45 a great live venue over the last few years bringing some big names to the area. Tom Robinson,

00:50 Glenn Tilbrook, the late Rad Noakes, Martin Stevenson and many many more. We hear about

00:55 their plans which kick in November and onwards with lots of gigs coming up. Gracotti's Big

01:00 Walking Festival gets underway as well this week. Nine days of events. It's a really packed

01:04 programme with the biggest yet and some fantastic events taking place as well including a walk

01:10 on the dark side here at Gracotti's darker side and of course even a murder mystery at

01:14 Beveridge Park where you have to solve whodunit and whodunit is who killed a local councillor

01:19 and dumped his body in the woods. That'll keep folk talking. And in sport there's a

01:23 great story of a Gracotti rugby player who made his debut for Scotland in 1998 but he

01:29 only got his cap this month. Read why and also what it means to him in this week's press.
