Dallas Cowboys Reveal Micah Parsons Injury Update at Camp

00:08 clarity and positivity to a Micah Parsons situation that 24 hours ago or so was a little

00:17 bit in question.

00:18 I'm Mike Fisher reporting on the Cowboys and the NFL.

00:22 In the Tuesday workout at training camp in Oxnard, Micah Parsons left the session at

00:29 one point, limped off the field, saw trainers, got his calf taped up and then did not return.

00:36 Now he also did not leave the field or go to the training room or head to the hospital

00:42 or even as far as we know the MRI machine.

00:46 We are checking on that.

00:47 But clarity on the next day as Mike McCarthy says, the injury scare is nothing to be scared

00:53 of that Micah Parsons is good to go, meaning probably ready to practice for Wednesday.

00:59 Of course, you hold your breath a little bit if you're the Cowboys or any other team when

01:04 you've got one of your top players.

01:06 And in the case of Micah Parsons, maybe not only the top player on the roster, maybe in

01:11 the short group, the small handful of top players in the NFL and keeping Micah Parsons

01:17 upright and healthy is a critical part of the Cowboys bid to be a true Super Bowl contender

01:25 this year.

01:26 The Cowboys play at Seattle on Saturday night.

01:29 Mike McCarthy has already pledged to not play his top two dozen players or so in that game.

01:34 There's no need to put anybody in harm's way.

01:37 That goes for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Trayvon Diggs, Zach Martin, who just reported to camp.

01:44 I would I would think that goes for if your top 25 guys, we can we can rattle them off

01:50 pretty easily.

01:51 And of course, would mirror largely what happened in the Cowboys first preseason game, a loss

01:56 to Jacksonville in which a bunch of kids were featured.

01:59 So Micah Parsons can practice.

02:01 Micah Parsons doesn't need to play till we get to September.
