WATCH: See inside Wade Park after $1 million upgrade

00:00 Yeah, we've had over a million dollars spent here at Wade Park doing up the facilities.
00:04 We used to just have male dominated change rooms, now we have female friendly
00:09 change rooms, so it's great news that it's gone unisex Wade Park. Also we have new LED lighting,
00:17 we also have solar panels and a new battery storage system which will make Wade Park
00:22 Orange's first net zero council facility. I think it's absolutely wonderful. The interest that
00:29 you know we're having in women's sport and women being on an even playing field in comparison to
00:34 men's sport is just increasing as you can see you know with the interest in the soccer at the moment.
00:39 So yeah it's very good for women to be able to come and play here at Wade Park and feel
00:44 comfortable in the facilities that we've now got to offer.
