Brazilian footballing legend Pele once described Wembley as the heart of football. A stadium that saw England lift the World Cup in 1966 and the Lionesses win the Euros in 2022, Wembley is a iconic sporting venue, but it offers so much more.

00:17 its doors in 1923, it has been the centre of sport in England. Maybe its most famous

00:23 moment coming when England lifted the World Cup in 1966 and when the Lionesses lifted

00:29 the Euros in 2022. In 1985, Freddie Mercury wilded the world with his iconic performance

00:36 headlining the first Live Aid concert. These days, Hayley Swift will be taking her upcoming

00:42 tour to the stadium too. In 2000, the old Wembley was closed and new Wembley opened

00:47 in 2007 hosting an FA Cup final. These days, there is life outside the stadium too, with

00:53 shops, bars and the iconic box park outside the ground as well. Wembley still is the heart

00:59 of football but now it has so much more to offer.
