00:00 Have you ever wondered what kind of gadgets and vehicles the military use to ensure that
00:04 the bad guys don't stand a chance?
00:06 It goes without saying that a lot of effort goes into ensuring the military is safe and
00:10 that their missions are completed successfully.
00:13 As the bad guys get tough, the military has to find ways to outdo them and thus their
00:20 technology gets weirder to the normal civilian but it's indeed more sophisticated and tougher.
00:28 Hello guys and welcome to another episode of Forever Green.
00:31 Today we are going to explore 20 most advanced technologies and vehicles that help militaries
00:36 do unbelievable tasks.
00:38 You should definitely stick around for number 1 as it will absolutely blow your mind.
00:45 Number 20.
00:46 Palmatro Door Blaster In the quest of taking down criminals, no
00:51 soldier would expect the bad guys to gladly open their doors.
00:55 As such, they are sometimes forced to break in.
01:01 In movies, you may have seen the SWAT team use battering rams to break doors.
01:05 This has proven to be a very noisy and time-consuming method that will probably see the bad guys
01:09 escape by the time the team is done breaking the door.
01:12 So what's the solution?
01:14 Say hello to the Palmatro Door Blaster.
01:17 It is a lightweight door breaching tool.
01:20 You only need a few seconds to set it up and another few seconds to open the door quietly
01:24 and quickly, which is what you need for a successful operation.
01:28 No large amount of debris is left behind, unlike when explosives or battering rams are
01:33 used.
01:36 Number 19.
01:37 M3 Amphibious Rig In the recent past, the military had quite
01:43 a hard time crossing rivers that were far too deep for their vehicles to maneuver.
01:47 But that is no longer a challenge.
01:48 Thanks to the invention of M3 Amphibious Rig, it is a military vehicle that can move both
01:54 on land and in water.
01:56 On road, it uses four wheels and in water, it self-deploys two big aluminum pontoons,
02:02 which create buoyancy and transform the rig into a raft.
02:06 And since every second counts in the battlefield, the pontoons can be deployed while the rig
02:10 is on the move, regardless of whether it is on the road or in the water.
02:14 The vehicle has four ramps that can be connected to another Amphibious Rig.
02:18 In three minutes, two or more rigs can be connected to form a ferry that is capable
02:22 of carrying the heaviest main battle tanks.
02:24 In 15 minutes, eight rigs can be connected to make a 100-meter-long bridge.
02:29 Amazing!
02:30 The M3 Amphibious Rig has a payload capacity of 85 tons for tracked vehicles and 132 tons
02:37 for wheeled vehicles.
02:38 In simple terms, there is nothing that the military can't get across rivers, ravines,
02:43 or any other water obstacle.
02:47 Number 18.
02:48 The SIG MCX Vertus A rifle is one of the most important things
02:56 that are needed in order to meet the various security needs.
02:59 But the SIG MCX Vertus is not your usual kind of rifle.
03:04 And I'm not just saying that.
03:05 It has a modular design that allows individual configuration to carry out specific tasks.
03:11 According to the manufacturer, SIG, there are over 500 possible configurations that
03:17 can be made.
03:18 The stock of the MCX Vertus has a folding and adjustable make, which simply means that
03:22 it can be used by just about anyone.
03:25 It also has a thick barrel and a two-stage trigger, meaning it is more accurate.
03:32 SIG MCX Vertus can fire 20,000 shots without replacing any parts.
03:37 After lots of tests and trials, it has been found to be reliable and wear-resistant.
03:42 No mud, water, sand, or ice can interfere with its normal functioning.
03:47 How cool is that?
03:52 Number 17.
03:53 M1150 US M1150 is simply an assault breacher vehicle,
04:00 or if you'd like, a mine and explosives clearing vehicle.
04:03 It is 40 feet long and weighs a whopping 72 tons.
04:07 It has a 1500 horsepower engine and a 50mm machine gun.
04:12 These tracked combat vehicles are specifically designed to clear the pathways through the
04:16 minefields to ensure that the troops and other military vehicles are not caught by surprise
04:21 by any bombs or improvised explosive devices.
04:25 Its front is equipped with a 15-foot-wide mine plow, which glides through the soil in
04:29 search of hidden bombs.
04:31 The breachers have a linear demolition charge system with C4 explosives.
04:35 They can be launched up to 150 yards forward, which ensures effective explosion of hidden
04:40 bombs at a safe distance.
04:44 Number 16.
04:45 T-Ghost From its name, you could tell that this military
04:50 technology may have drawn part of its inspiration from ghosts.
04:54 Ghosts are generally invisible and in the war zone, you can't shoot what you can't
04:59 see.
05:00 T-Ghost is a Swedish camouflage tank that is practically invisible to thermal imaging
05:05 systems.
05:06 It has a high-caliber 120mm compact cannon with reduced recoil and weight.
05:11 The powerful fighting tank allows the military to make the first strike at their enemies
05:15 before they can even have a clue of their presence.
05:18 How cool is that?
05:22 Number 15.
05:23 DARPA Captive Air Amphibious Transporter DARPA Captive Air Amphibious Transporter is
05:30 a 1-5 CAAT scale tracked amphibious vehicle prototype.
05:35 It moves on water with the help of air-filled pontoons that are attached to its tracks.
05:39 It is capable of transporting standard 20-40ft containers from the container ships to the
05:45 shore without the need for a harbor.
05:47 So how is this useful to the military?
05:49 It is meant to relieve military ships from commercial shipping during disasters.
05:55 This basically means that the military ships can concentrate on military tasks that they
05:59 are meant for.
06:00 If you think that this was interesting, you should look out for number 1 as it will absolutely
06:06 blow your mind.
06:08 Number 14.
06:09 Navy LCAC The Navy LCAC is a high-speed air-cushioned
06:16 vehicle used as an amphibious landing craft.
06:19 It boasts of a payload capacity of 75 tons.
06:22 It is mainly used in transporting weaponry, cargo, and marine personnel from the ship
06:27 to the shore and also across the beach.
06:31 It is able to maintain a speed of 74 km/h on full load.
06:36 This conventional landing craft can only access 15% of the world's coastline, but the Navy
06:41 LCAC can access up to 70%.
06:44 It can handle a 5-member crew and is not intimidated by the depth of the water, underwater obstacles,
06:49 or tides.
06:50 It has ramps at the front and rear, which makes offloading a lot faster.
06:55 It also can comfortably maneuver on rough terrains such as sand dunes, ditches, and
07:00 wet snow.
07:01 It is the perfect vehicle for carrying out ambush attacks as the enemy cannot tell the
07:05 location and time of attack since it can conveniently launch an attack 50 miles offshore.
07:12 Number 13.
07:14 Kalinin K7 Kalinin K7 is without a doubt one of the strangest
07:20 aircraft ever created.
07:22 Its physical appearance is far from the kind of aircrafts we are all used to.
07:26 That's probably because it was built back in the 1930s and is among the very first metal
07:31 monster aircrafts.
07:32 It was over 9 feet long and had a wingspan of over 173 feet.
07:37 The wings were internally spacious, which is what gave room to the many passengers.
07:42 But that's not all.
07:43 It also had 16 furnished staterooms, radio room, sleeping rooms, smoking lounge, and
07:49 a small restaurant.
07:50 Kalinin K7 weighed 53,793 pounds when empty and 83,776 pounds when loaded.
08:00 It could attain a maximum speed of 140 km/h.
08:05 Unfortunately, this humongous aircraft didn't last long as it crashed in November of 1933.
08:12 Number 12.
08:13 Kamov Ka-52 Kamov Ka-52 is a modern and powerful helicopter
08:21 that the Russian military takes a lot of pride in.
08:23 When it comes to taking out the enemy's tank or performing surveillance, this is your go-to
08:28 reconnaissance and attack helicopter.
08:30 There's probably no other helicopter on the planet that carries as many weapons as the
08:34 Kamov Ka-52.
08:36 What's even more astonishing is the fact that it can fly just a few meters above the ground.
08:41 By that, I mean just above the treetops.
08:44 It can fly sideways very swiftly without pitching and can also turn in any direction at a fast
08:49 speed.
08:50 That right there is top-notch maneuverability.
08:53 As if that's not enough, it has engines that transmit 224 horsepower.
08:58 This basically means that the helicopter will not crash in case any engine fails.
09:04 The crew has quite a good amount of time to land safely.
09:06 The cockpit is also armored and is completely bulletproof.
09:11 The seat pan is also armored so no small firearms from below can cause harm.
09:16 And if worse comes to worse and it loses its tail, Kamov Ka-52 will continue to fly and
09:21 function as it normally would.
09:23 And this is just not in theory, but such a case actually happened.
09:27 A 7.62 caliber bullet went through the rotor blade spar and the pilot was completely unaware.
09:32 He only discovered the hole during the post-flight inspection.
09:35 Yes, the Kamov Ka-52 is a hard helicopter to bring down.
09:41 Before we move on, here's a quick challenge for you.
09:44 If you can leave a like on this video, smash that subscribe button and turn on the notifications
09:48 in less than 5 seconds, you will have 10 years of amazing luck.
09:52 Hurry up and try it, it actually works.
09:56 Number 11, Drone Gun Tactical.
10:01 A drone gun tactical is a portable drone mitigation device.
10:05 It is no secret that drones are used in surveying and even launching attacks.
10:09 While the troops are busy coming up with strategies, their enemy could be busy spying on them and
10:13 planning a counterattack.
10:14 For a successful attack to happen, suspicious drones must be disabled.
10:19 That is where the drone gun tactical comes in.
10:22 Its number one job is to neutralize drones in the most cautious and safest way.
10:27 This means that no damage is caused on the drone and it can deactivate another drone
10:31 that is as far as 2 kilometers away.
10:34 So how does it work?
10:36 Well, it only takes a few seconds to set it and then it creates a very powerful signal
10:40 that immediately mutes the antenna of the enemy drone.
10:43 Once the enemy drone is hit by the signal, it activates its safety mode.
10:47 The video recording stops and the drone lands immediately, at which point the enemy will
10:52 be left wondering what happened.
10:54 And by returning to its operator, it helps the troop to track their enemy.
10:58 And that ladies and gentlemen, is how you beat them at their own game.
11:03 Number 10, Dagor.
11:08 Dagor is a lightweight transport vehicle.
11:11 You may recognize it from the many military movies you have watched.
11:14 It is a combat vehicle deployed mainly by the US military to the most challenging battlefields.
11:19 It can cover a distance of 85 miles in just one hour.
11:24 It's just the kind of ride you need for a quick response in a crisis.
11:27 What is even more mind-blowing is that it can switch gas from standard diesel to GP-8
11:32 jet engine fuel.
11:33 Isn't that amazing?
11:34 It is meant to carry 9 soldiers, but it can carry even more with the help of the retractable
11:39 seats.
11:40 A machine gunner can also comfortably operate from its top.
11:45 Number 9, Sikorsky Raider X.
11:50 Sikorsky Raider X is one of the most advanced helicopters in the world.
11:54 Its invention was initiated by the US Army.
11:56 When it comes to pushing boundaries, Sikorsky Raider X has done quite a great job, and gives
12:01 us an idea on what the future has in store for military aircraft.
12:06 It boasts of two coaxial rotors and a pusher propeller in its rear.
12:11 Normal helicopters have pilot seats placed side by side, but the Sikorsky Raider X is
12:15 not a normal helicopter.
12:17 To prove that, its pilot seats are placed in such a way that one is behind the other.
12:23 This makes the hull narrower, making the helicopter more streamlined, which in turn improves its
12:27 aerodynamics.
12:29 It also has a very powerful GET-901 engine, which helps it attain a maximum speed of 463
12:36 kilometers an hour.
12:38 Sikorsky Raider X is easy to operate as it is very sensitive to the pilot's command.
12:43 In addition, it can hover at a low speed and it can brake and accelerate fast, all while
12:47 remaining level.
12:49 With this helicopter, there is no need for routine maintenance, all thanks to its self-monitoring
12:53 digital design.
12:56 Number 8.
12:57 Elbit Systems Atmos
13:01 Elbit Systems is an earth-shaking cannon that will effortlessly devastate your enemies from
13:06 miles away.
13:07 Thirteen miles away to be precise.
13:10 It is no wonder it was dubbed the "King of Battle".
13:12 It is a fast, light and portable artillery.
13:16 The truck-mounted shotgun offers superior firepower.
13:19 Within one hour, it can fire up to 70 projectiles.
13:24 And now let's jog our minds a little bit.
13:26 It is riddle time.
13:27 What do you call a soldier who survived mustard gas and pepper spray?
13:31 Do you think you have the answer to our riddle of the day?
13:34 Be the first to leave your answer in the comment section.
13:38 Number 7.
13:39 MTGR MTGR is Micro Tactical Ground Robot in full
13:47 and as the name suggests, it is a combat robot.
13:50 Its design allows it to climb up stairs and steps with angles of up to 45 degrees.
13:55 It can also comfortably move over large pieces of debris and all manner of obstacles.
13:59 MTGR has a camera that gives a full 360 degrees view during both day and night.
14:06 So basically, nothing catches it by surprise.
14:09 It is light and portable and only needs one soldier to carry it, like you would a backpack.
14:14 It weighs 6 kilograms, so it's nothing a good soldier can't handle.
14:18 MTGR can go into places that are not easily accessible by road or zones that are far too
14:23 risky for the troop.
14:25 It can carry a load of up to 10 kilograms and it can continuously work for about 4 hours
14:29 before recharging.
14:31 In case it topples over, MTGR can flip itself.
14:34 Do you know any other robot that can do this?
14:36 Let us know in the comment section below.
14:41 Number 6.
14:43 Self-Steering Bullet A self-steering bullet is a bullet that can
14:48 guide itself toward the intended target.
14:51 It is yet to be incorporated into the US military as it is still under testing.
14:55 It is said to have the ability to change its direction mid-air and head right to its target,
14:59 hence armature shooters no longer have to worry about their accuracy.
15:04 How it is able to achieve this is a well-guarded secret.
15:07 The .50 caliber bullet is fitted with several tiny sensors and can hit moving targets without
15:12 breaking a sweat.
15:13 This one-of-a-kind bullet is expected to be far much cheaper than missiles and also a
15:17 possible replacement for the same.
15:21 Number 5.
15:22 Caliber MK4 and T7L3 Harris Caliber MK4 and T7L3 Harris are two military
15:30 robots that work hand in hand.
15:36 Number 4.
15:37 K300 Bastion P The K300 Bastion P is a mobile coastal defense
15:44 missile system that was made in Russia.
15:46 Its main job is to destroy surface ships.
15:49 It contains an anti-ship cruise missile known as P-800 Onyx.
15:54 The missile system is conveniently mounted on a mobile vehicle and is able to release
15:58 missiles within its five minutes of motion.
16:00 And because the battlefield calls for no time to waste, the missiles can be launched in
16:04 intervals of less than five seconds.
16:07 The launcher is capable of staying on active standby for up to five days.
16:12 As if that's not enough, the anti-ship missile can cruise a few meters above the water.
16:17 And by a few, I mean as little as five meters.
16:19 It is almost impossible to detect or intercept it.
16:23 But that's not all.
16:25 The anti-ship missile can carry a 200-kilogram warhead in either nuclear or conventional
16:30 form.
16:31 Do you think any enemy can outdo this?
16:33 Let us know in the comment section below.
16:37 Number 3.
16:38 Doggo Doggo is another tactical combat robot.
16:44 It was apparently inspired by the Doggo Argentino dog breed, hence its name.
16:49 Doggo is equipped with several cameras that give its operator a clear 360-degrees view.
16:55 This also makes it very easy for Doggo to identify threats, no matter its location.
17:01 Doggo has also claimed the crown as the world's first-ever robot to contain short-barrel weapons
17:06 such as Pistol Glock 26.
17:08 This basically means that Doggo can actually neutralize threats.
17:12 Yes, it can take part in anti-terrorist operations.
17:16 And if you think that it is not mind-blowing enough, well, Doggo is designed with a point-and-shoot
17:21 technology which makes its shots incredibly accurate.
17:25 The bad guys will be shaking in their boots just at the sight of Doggo, that's for sure.
17:32 Number 2.
17:33 Canine Vision You probably already know that the canine department
17:39 is made up of brave service dogs.
17:41 As such, the needs of these valuable helpers must be met and their lives must be protected
17:45 just as much.
17:47 This has led to the invention of a multifunctional system known as Canine Vision.
17:52 It's a 200-gram pair of goggles for the dogs.
17:55 It is light enough to avoid any form of discomfort.
17:58 It not only protects the dog's eyes during operations, but also has a camera that gives
18:02 its human companion a view of what the dog is seeing.
18:05 Canine Vision can also record both video and audio and has a speaker.
18:09 The speaker allows the soldier to give commands to the dog even when it's a couple of meters
18:13 away.
18:14 This is very crucial as it could save the dog from looming danger.
18:18 Canine Vision also has a light that helps illuminate the paths at night for an even
18:22 better vision.
18:25 It is now time for the subscriber's pick of the day.
18:27 Today's photo was sent to us by a subscriber wondering if there is really a vehicle as
18:31 strange and humongous as this.
18:33 If you come across any mysterious photo online that you want us to look into, just send it
18:38 over and we may even feature it in a future video.
18:41 Now we looked into this video and we are excited to reveal to you that there is indeed a vehicle
18:47 that is just like the one pictured.
18:49 And this brings us to number 1.
18:53 Movable Bridge Building Military Vehicle The Movable Bridge Building Military Vehicle
19:00 is simply a combat support vehicle and, as the name suggests, it builds a bridge where
19:05 there is none.
19:06 It is a tracked vehicle where the tank is converted into a folding bridge instead of
19:10 weapons.
19:11 When tanks and other armored vehicles are met with ditches and rivers that are far too
19:15 deep to maneuver, the bridge building vehicle comes into play.
19:19 The bridge layer unfolds, thereby unleashing a ready-made bridge in just a few minutes.
19:25 Once the bridge is in place, the vehicle detaches from the bridge and gives way to the other
19:29 military vehicles.
19:30 The bridge can be as long as 60 feet or even more.
19:33 Just like main battle tanks, this vehicle also uses a tank chassis to move.
19:38 It also has armor protection and it can move over rough terrain at a high speed.
19:45 And that's it for the 20 most advanced technologies in vehicles that helped the military do unbelievable
19:50 tasks.
19:51 Which of this was the most captivating and advanced according to you?
19:54 Let us know in the comment section below.
19:57 And if you found this video interesting, you should definitely check out our video on 12
