00:00 We're all too familiar with viral news of cats and dogs rescuing their owners from sure
00:04 fire tragedy.
00:07 How often do humans play the heroes and end up saving their pet from another wild animal?
00:11 We're about to find out.
00:13 Welcome to another episode of Forever Green, today we're bringing you 7 times people
00:17 save their pets from other wild animals.
00:20 We're talking face-offs with coyotes, kangaroos and snakes.
00:24 And if you want to see a man take on a full-sized alligator who snatched his dog, then you'll
00:28 definitely want to stick through until number 1.
00:31 Alright let's get to it.
00:36 Number 7, Jamaican saves dog from crocodile.
00:40 Sadly there are those who use stray dogs to taunt or bait crocodiles or just feed them
00:45 for sport.
00:46 This year a video emerged showing dogs being thrown into crocodile infested ponds to be
00:50 attacked by the reptilian creatures.
00:52 Thankfully one Jamaican man saw the dogs in need and did his best to lure them out of
00:57 the pond and away from the alligator.
01:04 However the steep slippery surfaces meant to keep crocodiles out of the pond were stopping
01:09 the dogs who had been thrown in from climbing out of this horrific scene.
01:13 In an attempt to follow the man's calls and get out as quickly as possible, one of the
01:16 two dogs slipped back into the water where the crocodile snapped him into his jaws and
01:21 dragged the poor pup into the water.
01:27 In an attempt to save his friend, the other dog kept barking at the crocodile, but the
01:31 reptilian was long gone.
01:33 Thank goodness the dog listened to the man's calls not to run after his friend and eventually
01:37 made it out of the pond alive.
01:39 However his friend was not so fortunate.
01:43 Number 6, Man saves deer from python.
01:47 This next clip left the internet divided when a tide decided to play god and save a deer
01:52 that was seconds away from being eaten by a snake.
01:55 The clip shows a snake strangling a deer using a death grip.
01:58 It seems that the snake is just about done and ready to feast on its prey.
02:02 However, suddenly a person approaches the showdown and tries to shoo off the snake away
02:06 with the help of a tree branch.
02:08 The snake initially defends itself from the intruder and does not let go of the deer.
02:13 The man then goes for a second attempt using a stick, causing the snake to release its
02:17 prey and allowing the deer to freely run off.
02:23 Ever since the video went live, the internet has been divided as to whether the man performed
02:27 a true act of kindness or whether he wrongly interfered with the laws of nature and should
02:32 have just let things take their natural course.
02:34 Some justifiably argue that unlike deer, pythons are carnivorous and that losing prey could
02:39 well mean the snake's death.
02:41 Others say the man acted emphatically and should be forgiven.
02:44 What do you think?
02:45 Was the man right or wrong?
02:47 Go ahead, let us know in the comments below.
02:52 Man boxes kangaroo to save dog
02:54 It's not uncommon for kangaroos to box one another over mating rights or for sport.
03:00 But this video shows a man doing something pretty unorthodox.
03:03 The man and a group of hunters were out in the Australian outback to help a young cancer
03:07 sufferer fulfill his last wish of catching a 200-pound wild boar when one of their hunting
03:12 dogs collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held onto the dog and wrestled it down.
03:17 The owner was horrified and came right to his dog's rescue.
03:21 The kangaroo releases the dog as soon as the owner gets close and proceeds to try and attack
03:25 the new intruder.
03:29 A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel a man.
03:32 But without flinching, the owner put up his fists and quickly changed the kangaroo's mind
03:36 with a clean punch to the snout.
03:39 The punch forced the kangaroo to stop and consider the confrontation for a moment, giving
03:43 the owner and his dog enough time to disengage and distance themselves from the wild animal,
03:48 which is later seen hopping away unharmed too.
03:52 The man said he felt no malice to the kangaroo, but had to step in and fix a bad situation
03:56 before it got worse.
03:58 He was glad nobody got badly injured.

04:21 Number 4 - Dog Owners Fight Off Coyote
04:24 The Collins dog Rocky was very lucky back in January 2020 because he was already in
04:29 the jaws of death when his owner saved his life.
04:33 This wasn't the couple's first coyote attack.
04:35 In September 2019, a coyote tried to go after Franz, their retired police dog, but Franz
04:40 was big and intimidating enough to chase the coyote away.
04:44 However, four months later, a coyote scooped little Rocky into its mouth, jumped the fence
04:49 and tried to make off with him.
04:52 When he saw what had happened, owner Jason Collins said Rocky looked like a cotton ball
04:56 stuck in his mouth.
04:57 Thankfully, Amy was out with the dogs when the coyote attacked, but they weren't on a
05:01 leash.
05:02 In this video, you can see Amy, followed by Jason, running after the thieving coyote.
05:07 Jason ran after them with a glass he threw next to Coyote, which was enough to scare
05:11 him into dropping little Rocky.
05:13 There's no video footage of it, but Jason said he stood between Rocky and the coyote,
05:19 making himself as big as possible while giving Rocky enough time to run home for safety.
05:24 Any dog would be proud to have such brave owners stand up for them.
05:29 Number 3, Dog Freed From Anaconda
05:33 This next video shows a dog getting rescued by a couple of bikers after being snatched
05:37 up by an anaconda.
05:39 For those of you who don't know, anacondas kill by squeezing their prey until it can
05:44 no longer breathe before swallowing it whole.
05:48 Lucky for the dog, that was not its fate that day.
05:54 The bikers were reaching into a river for a break and a short drink of water, when one
05:59 of their dogs was surprised by a 13-foot long anaconda, which quickly grabbed onto their
06:03 pup and pulled him into the water.
06:06 As soon as they heard the screams, they ran over to see what was going on, and found the
06:10 snake tangled around their dog and both of them sank into the water.
06:15 Thankfully, anacondas are non-venomous, so the owner jumped right into the water and
06:21 by the grace of God managed to locate them underwater, and pulled them out with the help
06:25 of his companions.
06:27 They were later able to release their dog from the snake's deadly embrace.
06:31 Coming away with little more than a bite themselves and without harming the snake in any way,
06:36 the snake was then released back into its environment and their lucky dog lived to see
06:39 another day.
06:41 Was that a close call or what?
06:45 Number 2.
06:46 Fake Dog Save?
06:49 Next up we have a pretty disturbing rescue that's almost too good to be true.
06:54 A YouTube video titled "Primitive Man Saves Family Dog From Python Snake" shows a group
07:00 of pups cornered by a vicious python that's striking at them.
07:04 While not venomous, large pythons can inflict some pretty serious injuries that often require
07:08 stitches.
07:10 The disappointing thing about this video is that the dogs and the python seemed all too
07:14 conveniently placed out in the wild that it appears to be fake.
07:19 Add on the fact that there is constant cutting between one camera showing the attack and
07:23 the other showing the man on his way to the rescue and this video looks all too cinematic.
07:28 Although it looks like the whole thing was a setup, the man did manage to save his dogs
07:33 from what could have well been his own snake.
07:37 However, the internet was more than displeased with the man who played around with his animals
07:42 lives to create some kind of viral rescue story.
07:47 Upon further research into his channel, we found even more videos of the man saving his
07:51 chickens and even their family alligator from the very same python.
07:55 Not very nice of him at all.
08:00 Before we reveal number 1, be sure to check out other amazing videos on our channel and
08:04 give us a like if you enjoyed this video so far.
08:08 Tell us in comments which one of these you like the most and why.
08:14 Number 1.
08:15 Man saves dog from alligator.
08:18 Unlike our previous imposter, this brave Florida man did not hesitate to jump into the water
08:23 to save his dog from a real alligator attack.
08:27 Village resident Steve Gustafson risked his life to rescue his West Highland Terrier,
08:32 Bounce, from the jaws of a fiercely hungry alligator.
08:38 Gustafson didn't think twice when he saw his pup in danger and wrestled with the gator
08:42 until he freed him.
08:44 He said he grabbed the dog's collar to try to pull him back, but just ended up in a tug
08:49 of war match with the gator who was determined not to let go.
08:53 So Steve took things a step further and got about knee deep into the water and started
08:57 pounding on the gator's head until he eventually let go of his beloved dog.
09:01 Unfortunately, once he had saved his dog, the alligator took a shot at Steve too, who
09:06 made it out alive but ended up needing a couple of stitches on his hand from the gator's attacks.
09:10 Now there's a man clearly willing to take some heat to save his beloved pet's life,
09:15 which is more than we can say for our previous so-called "hero".
09:20 And those were the 7 times people saved their pets from wild animals.
