The first edition of MUT by UTMB did not disappoint. The only UTMB race on the African continent took participants to the magnificent scenery and trails of the Outeniqua Mountains in South Africa. They traversed the karoo fynbos, the hidden gardens of the Outeniqua tucked away in the Southern Slopes of the mountain range, got to the Indigenous Forest and the magical ridgeline from Dizzy heights to Tierkop, crossed big infamous rivers like the Kaaimans, ran on the Wilderness Beach and got lost in the mountain vastness of Bergplaas. What an extraordinary journey!
