00:11 cat. It has a very short body, small tail, and long legs. It has unusually large paws

00:24 they are well adapted with big eyes and superior hearing. Because Lynxes are not fast runners,

00:29 they have to be sneaky to catch their dinner. The Canada Lynx can be found in boreal forests

00:39 Caracal The name caracal is derived from a Turkish

00:42 word "karakulak", meaning "black ear". The body of a caracal is built for sneak attacks.

00:50 The caracal was once tamed and trained for bird hunting in the Middle East. The animal's

03:36 in several areas of the American continent. It is listed as "least concern" by the

03:42 IUCN as the population is estimated to comprise more than 40,000 mature individuals and is

03:48 considered stable. During the early 1960s, the ocelot was heavily exploited by the fur

03:54 trade as 200,000 animals were taken annually for this process.

04:01 Flat-headed Cat The flat-headed cat is one of the most unusual

04:05 members of the cat family, with their long head and flattened forehead. Partial webbing

04:10 between the toes help the animal to move through water. The narrow jaws and backward-facing

04:38 of names. It has over 40 names in English alone. The cougar can run as fast as 55 to

04:45 72 km/h. Aside from humans, no species preys upon mature cougars in the wild. They can

04:52 live up to 18 years.
