00:00 "I am crazy for you,
00:05 may your presence be forever."
00:13 "May your presence be forever."
00:20 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Pakpatan Sharif.
00:23 Today, Alhamdulillah, this is the third episode of Baba Farid's series.
00:26 The title of the episode is very beautiful
00:28 and it is very beneficial for the present time.
00:30 The responsibilities of the Sufis.
00:32 We will speak to Pir Kamroo Shakoor Ahmed Sahib.
00:34 Pir Sahib, for the reformation of the society
00:37 and for the manpower in the society,
00:40 the elders have always served according to their potential.
00:44 Every true jeweler, as he recognizes the diamond,
00:48 he makes the carvings according to it.
00:50 So, how was the character of the Sufi in this regard?
00:52 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
00:54 This is a very blessed event.
00:58 May Allah reward our beloved Haji Abdul Rauf Sahib
01:02 and the entire team of ARY.
01:05 May Allah grant him health and wellness.
01:11 In the beginning, you said a beautiful sentence in the intro
01:15 that the mention of Sheikh
01:16 gives the taste of the disciple a taste of life.
01:19 -Allah Hu Akbar. -It is a beautiful thing.
01:21 And this process should continue so that the true words of the perfect saints,
01:28 who have put in their whole life's effort and hard work,
01:31 reach us and our future generations.
01:34 -Right. -If we look at it,
01:37 the reformation of the circumstances is the fundamental point of view of Sufism.
01:42 The Hadith of Ihsan, on which the entire Sufism is based,
01:48 says that Hazrat Jibrail Ameen (AS) used to come to the Prophet (PBUH)
01:53 and asked him how he could worship his pure Lord.
01:59 The Prophet (PBUH) replied, "As you see your Lord, Jibrail."
02:04 The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If this is not possible,
02:06 "then it should be that your Lord is seeing you."
02:09 The point of view of our Sufis is that
02:15 every moment of their life, and we have faith in it,
02:18 but because we are the owners of time, not the owners of the circumstances,
02:22 they are the owners of the circumstances,
02:24 and every moment of their life is filled with their Lord's sincerity.
02:31 It is the blessing of that sincerity
02:34 that whatever comes near them,
02:36 is filled with their blessings and blessings.
02:40 As a great scholar, who is present in Khutbaat-e-Madras,
02:46 gave a lecture in Madras University, he said,
02:50 "People are not made with ears, they are made with eyes."
02:55 What to say? Wow!
02:57 This is the way of our Sufis.
02:58 Please repeat this sentence, it is a very precious sentence.
03:00 People are not made with ears, they are made with eyes.
03:06 The way of our Sufis, and their unique way,
03:11 is that they say a little, but do more.
03:15 And when they do more,
03:18 when a true disciple sees that his perfect sheikh,
03:22 whom he recognizes as his teacher,
03:26 and he has bowed down to him,
03:28 and he has joined him in his training and reforming of circumstances,
03:32 when he sees that his sheikh is praying to his Lord at night,
03:38 and his sheikh is calling his Lord, "Glory to the Lord of the worlds."
03:44 When he is calling that personality,
03:46 when he is so full of light and dignity,
03:49 then the one whom he is bowing down to,
03:51 how great and glorious he is.
03:53 This is the character, this is the action,
03:56 which becomes the reason for reforming of circumstances.
03:59 This is the beautiful thing.
04:01 Iqbal did a beautiful aqasi,
04:03 he did the emotions of all of us,
04:05 in fact he said for our reformation,
04:06 "Iqbal is a great preacher,
04:09 he is a man who is immersed in his words."
04:11 He became the speaker of the speech,
04:14 but he could not become the speaker of the character.
04:16 The glory of our Sufis is that
04:19 whichever effort they work in,
04:22 they become the speakers of their character,
04:24 they become the owners of the state.
04:26 May Allah enable us to be free from their blessings.
04:30 Thank you very much, Pir Sahib.
04:31 Mufti Mohammad Ramazan, Shalvi Sahib, Qibla.
04:34 If we look at the welfare of the needy and poor,
04:37 the service of the people to God,
04:39 the welfare, the charity organizations,
04:42 then history is full of all the Sufis of the way.
04:46 So, how do we see Baba Sahib's character
04:49 in all these perspectives?
04:51 I want you to shed light on this.
04:53 Thank you very much, as per the established,
04:54 congratulations, and thank God that
04:57 I am able to attend this event on the second day
05:01 of the ARYQ TV and my own institution.
05:03 Yesterday, I was fortunate to attend the Friday Sermon,
05:05 and today I am here.
05:07 Alhamdulillah.
05:09 If we look at the life of the Sufis
05:14 in light of the question you have asked,
05:19 then a fundamental attribute
05:23 which is not only from the rest of the people,
05:27 but if I say that since the Sufis' destination
05:31 is beyond the Ulama,
05:34 the foundation is knowledge,
05:37 they start their journey from "Yatlu alihim ayatihi"
05:41 and reach "Yu'allimuhumul kitaba wal hikma",
05:44 but they do not stop there,
05:47 but they reach "Yuzakkihim".
05:48 What are you saying?
05:50 Subhanallah.
05:50 They become "Muzakki".
05:52 Their nature and disposition becomes "Muzakka",
05:57 as a result of which they become "Fa'iq".
05:59 Their status and responsibilities increase.
06:03 Correct.
06:03 So, what distinguishes them from the rest of the people,
06:06 if you say, from the people of knowledge,
06:10 is that they do not limit themselves
06:13 to the intellectual thirst of the creation of God,
06:19 but their physical requirements,
06:22 in which they focus on their hunger,
06:25 their clothes and their livelihood.
06:29 How beautiful.
06:31 When a "Salik" is present in the home of a perfect "Durvesh",
06:36 then his teacher and his spiritual conduct
06:42 and his upbringing starts later,
06:45 he arranges for his lodging, his living and his food.
06:50 Amazing.
06:51 And how logical is all this, Mufti sahib.
06:53 Subhanallah.
06:54 Because when he gets satisfaction and peace from this,
06:57 that I have got a place to live and a place to eat,
07:02 now he moves towards the journey
07:06 for which Sufism had established him.
07:09 Wow.
07:11 Now, if we look at this whole point as a study,
07:16 that how much is the welfare of Sufis in all these continents.
07:20 Correct.
07:21 So, I would like to say that in 2010-2011,
07:27 a German student from a German university,
07:32 stopped at Huzoor's place for 6 months.
07:35 Right.
07:36 The topic of his thesis was
07:42 how much is the welfare of Sufis in all these continents.
07:46 Absolutely right.
07:48 I used to meet him on weekends,
07:51 sometimes twice a month.
07:54 So, I had felt that he has become a Muslim by the grace of Allah 90%.
08:01 Allahu Akbar.
08:02 He just has to express it.
08:03 Absolutely right.
08:04 And this is a aspect of the life of a Sufi
08:07 which is unimaginable to us.
08:10 And no house can be complete until it has a mosque, a madrassa
08:16 and a food court.
08:17 It is a big thing.
08:19 And the concept of a food court is not only for the people who live there.
08:25 It is for those who are registered.
08:28 But anyone can come and visit.
08:30 Anyone can benefit from it.
08:31 Anyone can benefit from it.
08:33 And the next great thing about it is that
08:36 it does not question the distinction between religion and religion.
08:43 Excellent.
08:44 It does not even ask.
08:46 Absolutely right, Mr. Moti.
08:47 And the way the Prophet has said that
08:52 we have been blessed with the wealth of Islam
08:55 through the holy souls in this region.
08:58 This has a big impact on it.
09:00 And if we look at the life of Prophet Fariduddin Masood Ganjshakar
09:08 and this aspect of his life,
09:10 we see that at one time,
09:15 5000 people ate at his food court and his food stand.
09:19 Allahu Akbar Kabira.
09:22 It is easy to say this.
09:23 Yes.
09:24 And the next thing is...
09:25 It is not easy to make it feasible even in today's times.
09:29 It is not just that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fed them.
09:34 When everyone ate and left,
09:36 Baba Farid ate the leftover pieces of food from the food stand.
09:44 Subhanallah.
09:44 MashaAllah.
09:46 He ate it and expressed his humility
09:49 that Moula Farid is not even worthy of this.
09:51 Allahu Akbar.
09:52 Mr. Moti, I will take more inputs from you on this topic in the next episode.
09:57 Khawaja Sain, in Punjabi, there is a saying,
10:01 "Fight for something."
10:02 In the sermons of Madaras, Pir Sahib Qibla has said
10:06 that the saints and the Sufis,
10:09 the Qudsi group,
10:11 are not created by the ears or the ears,
10:14 but by the eyes.
10:16 You are one of those great scholars
10:19 who have shown miracles of the eyes.
10:21 So, please give us some glimpses of this
10:23 so that our viewers can know.
10:25 Because we have both the eyes and the eyes.
10:27 The evil eye is seen immediately.
10:28 Few people are convinced by the eyes.
10:29 So, please give us some glimpses of the eyes.
10:32 Yes, thank you.
10:33 With the permission of the Holy Prophet,
10:36 I will say something about the Holy Qur'an.
10:38 The Holy Prophet said,
10:40 in the Hadith of Gabriel,
10:43 that the Holy Prophet said,
10:48 "I worship Allah,
10:51 "and I am like him."
10:52 Absolutely.
10:53 "Worship Allah as if you are seeing him."
10:57 You are seeing Allah.
10:59 Right.
11:00 And the Holy Prophet said,
11:03 "I do not worship Allah whom I do not see."
11:06 Allahu Akbar.
11:07 "I do not worship Allah whom I do not see."
11:09 Yes.
11:10 "I worship Him only by seeing Him."
11:12 Then he said,
11:13 "If you are not seeing him,
11:15 "he is seeing you."
11:17 "If you are not seeing him,
11:19 "he is seeing you."
11:23 The Holy Prophet's point of view is different
11:27 from that of the common scholars.
11:29 The scholars translated it as,
11:31 "If you are not seeing him,
11:32 "he is seeing you."
11:34 But the Holy Prophet said,
11:35 "There is a way to see him."
11:39 So, there is a way to see him even if you are not seeing him?
11:41 In these words.
11:43 Please say it.
11:44 "Illam takun taraahu."
11:47 He said, "You have to give only one pass."
11:50 "Illam takun."
11:51 "Illam takun."
11:53 Yes.
11:53 "If you are not seeing him,
11:55 "he is seeing you."
11:57 Amazing.
11:58 Allahu Akbar.
11:59 He is saying about himself.
12:01 Wow.
12:02 "Illam takun taraahu."
12:04 "If you are not seeing him,
12:05 "he is seeing you."
12:06 "If you are not seeing him,
12:07 "he is seeing you."
12:09 He is saying about himself.
12:10 Allahu Akbar.
12:11 So, these...
12:13 So, the Sufis who have done this,
12:17 that they have killed themselves,
12:22 then they say, "Man niyam."
12:24 Yes.
12:24 "Wa Allahe yaara man niyam."
12:26 "I am not."
12:28 And then he says, "Sirri sirrim,
12:30 "jaana jaanam, tan niyam."
12:32 "I am not a ton,
12:33 "I am the head and the soul."
12:35 Allahu Akbar.
12:36 So, this is Hazrat Imam Malik.
12:42 He used to sit near Hazrat Bailul Dana.
12:45 Just like you said earlier.
12:49 People asked him,
12:52 "You go there and sit."
12:55 "You are such a great scholar,
12:56 "such a great teacher."
12:58 "So, you go there and sit near a Majzoob."
13:02 He said, "The one who knows,
13:05 "Bailul, he sees."
13:06 Wow.
13:08 Allahu Akbar.
13:09 The real thing is,
13:10 this is a matter of seeing and showing.
13:13 What is it?
13:14 So, in Sufism, this is the practice.
13:17 They read the words and tell you.
13:20 This is the meaning.
13:21 They tell you by seeing.
13:22 This is the meaning.
13:23 What to say.
13:24 Subhanallah.
13:25 Allama Muhammad Farooq Khan Saeedi Sahib,
13:27 with the help of Iqbal's couplet,
13:29 he asks us a question.
13:31 He says, "If you have the intention to ask,
13:34 "then ask them."
13:35 "They have taken the white throne in their own temples."
13:38 So, is this a sign of a particular Sufi
13:41 or a particular group of Sufis?
13:44 Which Sufis are mentioned?
13:45 Iqbal says here.
13:46 Look, this is the mention of those Sufis
13:49 whom we are mentioning.
13:51 Correct.
13:51 Hazrat Qutub-ul-Alam, Sheikh-e-Shuyuk-e-Alam,
13:55 Sayyidi Farid-ud-Din Masood Bin-Jashakar,
13:59 Farooqi Rahmatullah-Alai, is being mentioned.
14:02 So, this also means their miracles.
14:05 And, look,
14:06 Mufti Muhammad Ramadan Siadvi Sahib has said,
14:10 "In the homes of the noble people,
14:13 "education, training, and purification are provided."
14:18 "These are the people whose clothes are simple,
14:23 "who have empty homes,
14:26 "and thousands of people are eating in the kitchen."
14:29 Right.
14:30 "And they live with poverty and hunger,
14:33 "and with prosperity,
14:35 "but they benefit the people of God."
14:37 So, this...
14:39 We, Mohsin Sahib, in this era,
14:41 because we are blind,
14:44 we don't see such Sufis in this era.
14:48 But, the people whose homes,
14:51 whose shrines,
14:52 whose shrines,
14:53 whose shrines,
14:54 are the abode of the angels,
14:57 these are the people
14:58 whom Iqbal has mentioned.
15:00 Absolutely right.
15:01 And they are still sitting in their shrines.
15:05 This is such a great lesson.
15:07 This is such a great sign for history.
15:10 The miracles that the Prophets have received,
15:16 the Saints have received miracles.
15:18 All kinds of things.
15:20 And just as miracles are proven in the Quran,
15:25 the miracles are also proven in the Quran.
15:28 And the opponents also believe
15:30 that the miracles of the Saints,
15:32 especially,
15:33 Huzoor, Ghusr Saqlain, Ghiaasul Qaunain,
15:37 Sayyidina Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani,
15:40 have reached the limits of the time.
15:43 Ibn Taymiyyah has written this.
15:45 Correct.
15:45 They are the bearers of the Yad-e-Baiza.
15:47 And they are the ones whose shrines are the abode of the angels.
15:51 Mashallah.
15:52 And even after their death,
15:53 their blessings and blessings are being distributed among the people.
15:56 It was about the Langar.
15:58 You see, Huzoor,
15:59 Data Gajbakhshali Hujweri,
16:02 the Khateeb of that shrine,
16:04 was a great saint.
16:06 And thousands of people are being raised there.
16:09 All three times.
16:11 It is difficult to raise three children for a father.
16:14 And the Datas or Babas,
16:16 thousands of people are eating daily.
16:20 The dowry of widows, orphans,
16:24 and needy people is also being given by the Babas.
16:28 So, these are the saints of the Qiraat.
16:29 These are the saints of the Qiraat.
16:30 To whom Iqbal's sign is directed.
16:32 Thank you very much, Allama Kibla.
16:34 Viewers, this segment was very beautiful.
16:36 All four scholars have given very beautiful inputs.
16:38 And it was their role to make the topic easy and to convey it beautifully.
16:43 The series will continue with this love.
16:45 We will take a short break.
