00:27 month old baby drowned in an overflowing nala on Wednesday after slipping from his mother's
00:33 arm during a train delay between Kalyan and Thakuralli railway station as heavy rain disrupted
00:39 the train service. The incident took place after the Ambanna local train they were travelling
00:45 on came to a halt due to water logging. After the train halted, many commuters were seen
00:51 walking down the railway tracks to reach the nearest railway stations. The incident took
00:56 place when they were crossing the nala along the rail tracks. The infant unintentionally
01:01 slipped from mother's arm when she was handing the baby off to the uncle. The infant was
01:07 going to KEM hospital in Mumbai with mother and uncle for a normal check-up. The fire
01:13 brigade officials launched a search operation to trace the baby after receiving a call about
01:19 a child falling into a nala.
