Beauty queen representatives of different countries are currently in Manila to take part in the Mrs./Ms. Earth International happening here in the country tomorrow, July 21st.

00:27 There you go. To talk about what is actually going to happen tomorrow. And of course, we have our very own Faye here. You are the Miss Universe, Miss Universe International.

00:42 And we have the two reigning queens here, two delegates. I mean, a lot, a lot happening today.
00:48 Thank you for joining us. And it must be an exciting time for all of you to have the Mrs. take part in the whole pageantry that we have had so many different.
01:02 First, Mikael, let me start with you. Tell me a little bit about this pageant, which is happening. The coronation is happening tomorrow.
01:09 Tomorrow. Yes. Tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Okada, we are going to present our Glamorously Green Ladies.
01:16 We are a pageant that is all about the environment. We are looking to maintain our environment environment for future generations.
01:23 So keeping it clean, keeping Mother Earth natural, no trash anywhere, recycling.
01:29 We're all about keeping our preserving our nature for future generations.
01:33 And I'm so happy to have all of my latest, some of our beautiful ladies here representing all of our divisions and our soon to be outgoing queens that were wonderful.
01:43 Wow. But thank you for coming back to the Philippines. How many beauty queens are participating this time?
01:49 This time we have 55 beautiful ladies from all over the world.
01:53 And how was it when you were part of this for for the Mrs.?
01:58 It was really cool. My competition was virtual, actually. It means competing in Internet.
02:04 Yes. And it's actually, I would say, a bit harder even in Internet because you have to find the stage for yourself.
02:12 You have to be your own choreographer and everything. And I managed to win.
02:16 And I'm happy to be here and crown the next one. And for for Mrs. What's the age?
02:22 So we start off at 21 and up. We also have an elite division for women who want to compete with women that are just in their same age.
02:29 So that's our elite starting at 40. And and that's our Mrs. Mrs. is for adult women.
02:35 And then for the Ms. For the Ms. is the same. It starts at 21.
02:40 But they can be previously married. They could be single mothers. So it gives a little bit more flexible.
02:45 It's a single adult woman, you know, that has maybe been divorced to or widowed. So they have a little more life experience.
02:52 OK. And for the for the Ms. What was your experience like? Was it also virtual for you?
02:56 Yeah, actually, we had waited a lot due to covid pandemic and due to the restrictions, you know, that country borders were sealed.
03:05 That's why it's suddenly that our organizer decided to take the virtual ride because of we don't have any other options.
03:12 And we were ready to do all this stuff. So we did a lot of rounds virtually like evening round and same costume round and question answers.
03:22 Everything we did virtually and we gave our hundred person and then we won the title.
03:28 I won this in elite category. And that's it was really, really pleasant experience for us because we had waited a lot due to the covid pandemic.
03:39 And then now we something good came out of the covid pandemic.
03:44 You were able to showcase your own beauty and talent. Now, Faye, OK, I don't know how many titles you have.
03:50 Six titles here, Faye. Yeah, I'm holding multiple titles.
03:53 Yes. You were crowned Mrs. Philippines Earth. Is that correct? Way back in 2018.
03:59 OK. And now you're an advocate of this pageant, of course, which combines all the beauty and nature.
04:04 And now you're here as a judge. Yes. Full circle for you.
04:08 Yes, Miss Christine, first and foremost, I would like to say good morning to all of you.
04:12 Thank you for having me here. I'm Sir Paolo and of course, Miss Christine.
04:15 Yes, it's been a pleasure to be with this organization. Sir Mikkel has been so nice to all of these queens.
04:21 So, as a judge, what are you looking for when it comes to being a Mrs. Earth or Miss Earth?
04:30 Actually, it's very challenging because all these ladies are equally beautiful and talented.
04:34 But of course, we're looking for a certain lady who can represent our organization well.
04:39 And of course, it has to come with one package. She has to have the brain, the beauty, of course, and the heart.
04:45 How is it, Mikkel, if it's the Mrs. and the Miss, are they two separate pageants?
04:49 Are they one and the same and you just pick your winners for each?
04:53 So, they are two separate pageants. So, they will compete on the same stage at the same time.
04:58 So, a lot going on, a lot of moving parts. But yeah, it's two separate pageants with two, actually four winners.
05:05 Wow, okay. And you also have teens. We have the young ladies in the back and of course, Mrs. Sri Lankesh with us.
05:12 Tell us about your experience and when did you participate for the teen?
05:16 Okay, let's start with the youngest one first.
05:18 Hi, I'm Rhea Singhal. I'm Teen Earth Asia. And it's such an honor to be here, first of all.
05:23 Well, my experience has been great. When participating in India, I never even imagined that this would be the platform that I'm participating in.
05:31 And I think it's so amazing that we get this opportunity to represent what we stand for and represent so much diversity.
05:38 Because I'm representing Asia, we all know how much diversity there is.
05:42 True, true. Well said. And Mrs. Sri Lanka.
05:46 Hi, everyone and good morning. I'm from Sri Lanka.
05:49 So actually, first of all, I should say that I'm very honored to be here today as a Sri Lankan.
05:55 And Sri Lanka is the pearl of the Indian Ocean. So I'm very proud to represent my country here.
06:00 And when I was participating in the local pageant, I never thought that I could come this far.
06:05 So I'm really, really grateful for the Mrs. Earth organization and Mr. Michael as well for giving us a platform like this to show our talents and then like to be here.
06:15 So I'm very happy and very thankful. Thank you.
06:17 It is so nice. I mean, you must be so honored doing this for like 17 years or so.
06:22 Right. And to be able to inspire, empower so many women from, you know, all over the world, different ages, you know, different statues or statuses in life.
06:33 Right. And you all give them an opportunity, a platform. And, you know, it's just going to keep going. Thank you so much.
