00:00 We've seen a lot of movement in the NBA this offseason.
00:02 We're inching closer to the start of the season already, which is wild.
00:07 >> Yeah. >> Who do you think is your team to beat
00:09 in the West?
00:10 >> How many fingers do I have?
00:11 >> I know.
00:11 >> I mean, while the East looks like everybody's kind of down and
00:16 the Heat are kind of fluky and the Bucks maybe and the Celtics are not as good.
00:20 The West is like, they're on steroids.
00:22 I mean- >> Isn't it weird how it shifts?
00:24 Because last season it felt the other way.
00:25 >> Yeah, it did.
00:26 But you had a couple of stars go from the East to the West.
00:30 Remember when we were talking about Bradley Beal going to the Suns,
00:33 which just makes them, they're already a handful, right?
00:36 >> Yeah. >> Now you've got Durant and
00:38 Durant starter kid Bradley Beal.
00:40 Both can handle the ball, both you can't guard them.
00:43 They're too blanky and tall.
00:44 They've got limited range.
00:46 They're gonna be tough to defend.
00:48 Of course, you still have Devin Booker on that team.
00:50 They got better.
00:51 >> Yeah.
00:52 >> But wait, Warriors got better.
00:54 >> They're just always there.
00:55 The pesky Warriors.
00:56 >> I mean, they're the pesky Warriors.
00:58 They got rid of Jordan Poole.
00:59 That's one of their best shooters.
01:00 Jordan Poole, as we know, that season last year kind of went down south
01:06 when Draymond Green decked him in training camp.
01:09 Never the same.
01:10 And he got all that money, but he was kind of soft on defense, and
01:14 he pouted, didn't shoot.
01:15 Now they got Chris Paul, who, again, aging.
01:19 But if he plays his role and accepts his role as a backup player,
01:23 he's gonna make Stephen Curry better.
01:26 He's gonna make Draymond Green better.
01:28 He's gonna give them almost two different identities.
01:31 Like where the Warriors who pass, they were fast, and we also slow down and
01:34 grind out possessions, which Steve Kerr's never had that with the Warriors.
01:37 I think the Warriors got better.
01:38 So, then there's the Nuggets.
01:40 They're defending champions.
01:42 What's to say they're not?
01:43 I mean, they made one trade.
01:45 >> Right.
01:46 >> Bruce Brown, who was a role player, and he played good, but
01:50 if you're gonna lose a guy, it's Bruce Brown.
01:52 The Nuggets, there's no reason to think they won't be better.
01:55 So, how many, is that three?
01:57 >> [LAUGH] >> We didn't talk about LeBron coming
01:59 back, the Mavericks, Kyrie.
02:02 I mean, good luck in the West.
02:03 And who, Damien Glover, where's he gonna go?
02:05 >> What about the Kings all of a sudden?
02:06 >> And the Kings, of course, the Kings put some Warriors out there.
02:09 West is loaded, East, mm.
02:12 >> We'll see how it all works out.
