00:00 Hello and welcome to this most notorious edition of UK Crime Caught on Camera.
00:07 Coming up on this special show, Cops vs Crooks.
00:12 What do you get if you combine stacks of cash, a cocaine drug dealer and a chainsaw?
00:17 No, not Al Pacino and Scarface.
00:20 What you get in this case, actually, is a chainsaw wielding police officer breaking
00:25 into a home in Essex, England.
00:29 The officers at work here are after 47 year old Zocol Zaimi.
00:34 But in order to get him, they need to break down one of the toughest doors in the UK.
00:39 The door has three bolts on each of its three locks, but as police put it, the chainsaw
00:44 is doing a cracking job.
00:47 Inside, officers found a huge stack of 50 euro notes, massive quantities of plastic
00:52 wrapped cocaine labelled Jaguar and Top.
00:55 Zaimi's chat log showed he was involved in the large scale purchase and sale of cocaine
01:01 between March and June 2020.
01:05 He was also seen to be discussing the collection of more than £400,000 in cash.
01:10 He was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison in December 2022.
01:17 Next we're in Birmingham, where a dramatic combination of body and dash cam footage shows
01:21 the moment unarmed officers chase a teenage gunman near a school.
01:26 John Yell Barrett was wrestled to the ground and found with a loaded revolver after cops
01:30 arrested him in February 2021.
01:34 The officers who were in an unmarked car activated their blue lights after running checks on
01:38 police systems and the driver pulled over to stop.
01:42 But Barrett bolted from the car and officers gave chase on foot and tackled him to the
01:46 ground on James Turner Street.
01:49 Police spotted the handle of an antique revolver poking from his waistband and when asked is
01:54 it loaded, 19 year old Barrett replied yes.
01:59 It was later found to be a Webley Mark 6 revolver loaded with a .44 Smith & Wesson cartridge.
02:07 Barrett, now 20, of Ladywood, Birmingham went on to admit to possessing a firearm and ammunition.
02:14 He was jailed for five years at Birmingham Crown Court in December last year.
02:19 Now we come to Birmingham, where National Crime Agency officers are arresting men at
02:23 gunpoint.
02:24 They were found to be in possession of an array of weapons including a loaded firearm.
02:30 Officers recovered a handgun, ammunition, knives and sledgehammer from the gang.
02:35 The gun was loaded.
02:37 Karl Brooks, Callum Meah, Richard Davis, Jordan Feeney and Robert Clark were all charged with
02:43 possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of prohibited ammunition, possession of a
02:48 prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession
02:54 of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
02:57 Clark was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon or bladed article.
03:02 All five men pled guilty at Birmingham Crown Court in December 2022 where a judge jailed
03:07 the gang for a combined 32 years.
03:10 First, we're in London where Met Police Officer Tony McGovern is seconds away from serious
03:16 injury.
03:17 The driver who sped away there is Joseph Ward.
03:20 The incident took place on July 1st, 2022.
03:24 Ward was also wanted for impersonating a police officer and demanding money from another driver
03:30 in June 2022.
03:32 After a complex manhunt, Met Police officers tracked Ward down and arrested him.
03:38 Investigators later linked him to two other offences, including on the 5th of July 2022
03:42 when he was involved in a collision in Crouch Hill and on the 6th of July 2022 where he
03:48 failed to stop for police on Gault Lane and Enfield and damaged two police cars.
03:54 Ward, from Royston Hertfordshire, was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday 1st
03:59 of February to four years in prison.
04:02 He had previously pled guilty to 14 offences.
04:05 Robbers nick 300 grand worth of gold in ramray tags.
04:13 This footage shows robbers ramraying at dealers in broad daylight.
04:18 In total, they made off with 300 grand worth of gold in 70 seconds.
04:26 The robbery was carried out in front of shoppers in March last year.
04:38 Those involved are John Gurley, Trevor Week, Justin Boylan, Arfan Latif and Hassan Soufouka.
04:47 The video shows them reverse a stolen pick-up truck into the store around midday.
05:01 Three men burst into the shop.
05:04 One uses a sledgehammer to smash the glass display cabinets.
05:08 He then fills his sports bags with loot.
05:11 They fled the scene with around 5 kilos worth of 22 carat gold jewellery.
05:21 A fourth man remained in the car while the fifth acted as crowd control.
05:26 He did this by waving an axe at witnesses before they fled.
05:40 The gang then dumped the getaway car in a residential street and switched vehicles.
05:45 But they were caught by police days later.
05:48 The five were found guilty of conspiracy to rob and possessing an offensive weapon.
05:57 Drug dealer attacks officer with Pavaspuri.
06:01 Next we're in Cambridge in September 2021.
06:04 This bodycam footage shows a drug dealer trying to evade arrest.
06:09 And to make matters worse, he gets violent with a police officer.
06:13 The assailant repeatedly punches the police officer.
06:17 He then incapacitates him with the officer's own Pavaspuri.
06:22 Before all that, Shaxsawan Becker was chased through the streets on foot.
06:27 In pursuit were officers who suspected he was involved in drug dealing.
06:31 But after they caught up with him, Becker held one down and punched him.
06:35 He then took the officer's Pavaspuri and sprayed it in his eyes.
06:40 It all kicked off when police had stopped a red car which Becker was a passenger in.
06:44 Becker fled and was chased by another officer.
06:47 He can be seen throwing a package away.
07:13 Here that is again.
07:15 What Becker threw was later confirmed to be up to £12,300 worth of cocaine.
07:21 The officer and Becker scuffled.
07:23 But the officer managed to call for backup by pressing the emergency assistant button
07:28 on his police radio.
07:29 Despite the officer using his Pava, Becker repeatedly punched the officer in the face.
07:34 He also attempted to grab hold of his taser but was unsuccessful.
07:38 So he grabbed the Pava and sprayed it directly in the officer's eyes.
07:43 Officers came to the downed officer's aid and detained Becker.
07:46 They also recovered the package he threw away.
07:50 Get the f*** off him!
07:55 You're next for assault police.
07:59 Roll over now!
08:02 VB, there's one of this.
08:06 Turn around and get him in the car!
08:07 He's in a red Audi!
08:08 You okay?
08:09 You okay?
08:10 You all right sir?
08:11 You're next for assault police.
08:12 You don't have to say anything but it may harm your defence.
08:13 You do not mention when questioned, something which you may run around and court.
08:14 Anything you do say, you may be given evidence.
08:15 VB, ambulance please.
08:16 PC, f***.
08:17 A further package containing up to about £2,500 worth of cocaine was found in the red car.
08:33 Authorities also found boxes of illegal cigarettes resulting in the driver's arrest.
08:38 Becker admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine, assault with intent to resist
08:43 arrest, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
08:48 He was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
08:51 The driver, Soran Abdullah, was handed a two year conditional discharge and must pay £1,000
08:57 in costs.
08:58 He admitted to counseled possession of cocaine and acquiring criminal property, namely a
09:03 large quantity of cigarettes on which duty had not been paid.
09:12 Sixteen years for a man who sprayed police with ammonia.
09:16 A 22 year old Brixton man has been jailed for 16 years after spraying an officer with
09:20 ammonia and threatening him with a gun.
09:23 I've been sprayed by something.
09:27 97, repeat your last response.
09:32 Police were called to reports of people acting suspiciously shortly after midnight on June
09:36 17, 2022, around parked cars on Common Side East in Mitcham.
09:41 PC Samuel Gore approached a male, later identified as James Boyle.
09:46 Officer Gore tried to speak to him, asking him to take his hands out of his pockets.
09:50 But Boyle pulled out a bottle and sprayed the officer in the face with ammonia.
09:54 The officer was only able to see from one eye, but managed to use his pavaspray.
10:00 This caused Boyle to turn around and flee.
10:02 Police, Union City has come inside here for a spray.

10:10 Poverty Floyd, poverty Floyd.
10:14 I've been sprayed by something.

10:18 PC Gore said in his victim impact statement, "At the time of the incident, I was on the
10:30 verge of death.
10:31 I was in complete fear for my life.
10:32 I did not know what the male had sprayed at me.
10:35 Thoughts of acid, ammonia, or any liquid that could have caused me irreversible injuries
10:39 to my eye, sight, or permanent disfigurement to my face overcame me.
10:44 My thoughts turned to my son at home.
10:47 Was he going to grow up only knowing me as having a disfigured face?
10:52 Will he recognize me when I go home?"
10:54 PC Gore was joined by his colleague, PC John Garner.
10:58 The pair chased Boyle on foot.
11:00 Boyle then pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at them.
11:04 He escaped.
