A bittersweet mix of joy and sadness filled the room when a girl and her cousin opened their soul-stirring gifts from the former's mom, Desiree Bosold.
The gifts in question were stuffed teddy bears integrated with voice boxes that played messages from the girls' late grandmother, someone they loved with all their hearts.
Desiree's niece, Chesney Swickard instantly teared up after listening to the timbre of her grandma's voice. At that moment, all she wanted was for the departed soul to return, so she could hold her tightly in her arms just once more.
