Rod Stewart praises Boris Johnson despite damning Partygate report

Sir Rod Stewart has said he is “a fan of Boris Johnson” following the publication of the Partygate report.
The musician, 78, added that the electorate “knew what they were getting” with the former prime minister.
“I was - and still am - a bit of a fan of Boris because I think he’s got wonderful charisma,” Sir Rod said.
“You knew what you were getting with Boris... he’s told a few porkies over the years.”
Sir Rod then went on to say that if Mr Johnson wants to make a “comeback”, he should get in touch.
