A rapid increase in the sport's popularity has led to a surge in American tourists selecting their holiday destinations based on the availability of pickleball facilities. In response, several tour companies are creating pickleball-focused trips while hotels and resorts are incorporating amenities centered around the game. Resorts and hotels are increasingly becoming venues for pickleball, contributing to the more than 11,000 venues registered with USA Pickleball. Well-known brands like Margaritaville and Holland America Line have sponsored major pickleball associations and incorporated courts in their properties. The trend also extends to corporate events and even cruise lines, with companies such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean hosting pickleball tournaments on board.
