Hydrogen Expo, Dutto (Intesa Sanpaolo): “In autunno asta hydrogen bank per produzione idrogeno verde”

(Adnkronos) -  Negli spazi di Piacenza Expo ha preso il via la 2° edizione di Hydrogen Expo, l’innovativa mostra-convegno italiana dedicata al comparto tecnologico per lo sviluppo della filiera dell’idrogeno, in programma dal 17 al 19 maggio 2023. Nella giornata di apertura è intervenuto Riccardo Dutto, responsabile infrastrutture Intesa Sanpaolo.

00:03 The future goals of the Hydrogen sector are the bankability,

00:09 which is linked to the fact that the technologies are not yet break-even,

00:14 that is, they are not yet profitable.

00:17 It is a whole issue of policies and incentives, penalties,

00:22 price, cost and opportunities of CO2 emitted by fossil fuels.

00:28 The European Commission has issued a whole series of regulations and directives in this regard.

00:34 In autumn there will be a first auction by the Hydrogen Bank of contributions

00:39 for the production of green hydrogen, where 800 million have been allocated

00:43 in terms of prize money per kilo of green hydrogen produced.

00:48 We will see the projects that will be presented in the auction,

00:53 and it is clear that with subsidies that allow projects to go to break-even

00:58 and generate interest to repay a debt, there will be structured finance operations

01:03 of Project Finance that could be set up, let's say, prior to the construction
