Victoria's plan to raise age of criminal responsibility doesn't go far enough, advocates say

Lawyers and advocates have claimed the Victorian government's plan to raise the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to 12 doesn't go far enough, while the Shadow Attorney General thinks it may not be necessary at all. But families caught up in the youth justice system say political point-scoring is threatening to drown out the human cost of such policies.
