Central bank’s structure and operations to be overhauled

A sweeping review of the Reserve Bank has recommended substantial changes to how it sets monetary policy and communicates with the public. Paul Bloxham is Chief Economist with HSBC and a former Economist with the Reserve Bank. He says the changes bring the RBA into line with how central banks operate overseas.
