Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars in Gwynedd on Monday. Police were called to the scene at 6:20 on Monday evening, north Wales fire and recuse used hydraulic cutters to free those the casualties from the wreckage of the crash.

Plans that would see councils given the powers to fine those parking on pavements have been delayed, after local authorities complained too many transport policies are being implemented at once. Councils would have been able to fine those parking on pavements up to £70.

Red squirrels are at serious risk of being wiped out by a deadly virus according to campaigners. They say research needs to be undertaken in order to prevent the spread of the virus which is carried by, grey squirrels but does not affect the invasive species. The Welsh government say they are looking at opportunities to save the population.
