Reacting to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s arrest in connection with the alleged Delhi excise policy case, AAP leaders on February 26 termed the arrest as the “end of BJP rule”.
"Arvind Kejriwal will be the man who will end Narendra Modi’s rule. Today Kejriwal ji is in trouble. Rahul Gandhi doesn’t care. But, how will he handle Kejriwal? BJP is scared of AAP,” said AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj.
"The arrest of the country’s most popular education minister Manish Sisodia is the beginning of the end of BJP rule. History is being repeated, the British were arrogant in their youth and, today the BJP leaders and PM Modi have the same arrogance. We received dozens of calls after the arrest, calls were also received from the places where we did not contest the elections. BJP has extinguished the lamp of hope. BJP has left the shame a long time ago. The whole country is condemning the cowardly act,” said AAP leader Dilip Pandey.
