Cochise - album Swallow tales 1971

  • anno scorso
Second album by British country rock band Cochise. The band had had a change of direction forced on them when original lead vocalist and talented sonwriter Stewart Brown quit the band. The new vocalist John Gilbert had a "heavier" voice and B.J. Cole led the band into more of a free/soft rock style still underpinned by his wonderful pedal steel guitar playing. Among the moments of greatest interest of "Swallow tales", the cameo "Strange images" with Steve Marriott on piano and backing vocals is particularly interesting.

John Gilbert - vocals.
B.J. Cole - resonator, pedal steel guitars.
Mick Grabham - electric & acoustic guitars, backing vocals.
Rick Will - bass, backing vocals, percussion.
Willie Wilson - drums, percussion, backing vocals.

Steve Marriott - piano, backing vocals.
Nigel Olsson - harmony vocals.
Caleb Quaye - piano, electric guitar.
