Abuse survivors complain of being shut out of church hearing into former governor-general Peter Hollingworth

  • last year
Survivors of Anglican church abuse have appealed to authorities, to urgently intervene in an inquiry assessing whether former governor general Peter Hollingworth, should be stripped of holy orders. A hearing was held earlier this month behind closed doors in Melbourne, over Dr Hollingworth's handling of abuse cases in Brisbane, in the 1990s, but key complainants pushing for the former Archbishop to be defrocked, say they've been shut out of the process.
