Womb — Womb 1969 (USA, Folk/Psychedelic/Jazz Rock)
  • last year
The debut album (2 in total) by a San Francisco band formed in 1968 by singer, pianist and guitarist Karyl Boddy. They played a very interesting mixture of folk, psychedelia, jazz and jazz-rock. In early 1969, they released the self-titled album, which received excellent press and public popularity. For most of 1969, the band toured with the Grateful Dead. The album was released in the original in a very interesting way - each side on vinyl was not divided into tracks and was listened to as one suite.
