Leith resident says proposal for new housing development ignores public consultation

Plans to develop a Leith Walk site has left local residents concerned.

Developers plan to introduce four new buildings, including one six-storey building for student accommodation (230 beds) and two five storey buildings for residential use (54 flats).

One Leith Walk resident fears the new development will reduce daylight coming into his property and said the plans go against public consultation three years ago that recommended more affordable housing.
