I can't even wrap my head around how stupid you need to be to do something like this. It is not a street folks IT IS A HIGHWAY. Not that you should do it in the street. It is a wonder he did not cause a major accident. Cars are flying by and he can't get his Chinese bic lighter to work. And he is dressed in dark clothing. His top pay grade obviously was sparklers and then only under supervision.

I noticed something interesting. Right before this guy gets hit, the car in the opposite lane turns up his bright lights. This could have had a couple of different effects. It may have temporarily blinded the driver that hit this guy and because of the extra illumination the guy may not have seen the car coming at him as quickly. Bad timing.

Soon we will start seeing warnings on fireworks that say something like to do not place in street or highway to use, you could suffer injury from moving vehicles.
