Zoom Guest - Mike Gets His Tonsils Removed (1974)

Danny introduces this week’s Zoom Guest who may look very familiar, but his voice sounds a little funny. A few weeks prior, Mike went to the hospital to have his tonsils out and he said it would be all right if the film crew came to visit him. At the hospital, the doctor told Mike that he would have 2 medicines that’ll make him sleepy so that when the operation comes, it won’t hurt him at all. The doctor also told Mike that he would be drowsy most of the night. He would be pretty sleepy most of the night. And the next, when he’s fully awake, then he’ll want to walk around and start eating again. 5 days later, he told us what happened during his tonsillectomy operation and even though his throat was still hurting and he had ear pains, he was getting better the past few days. After a few days, Mike returned to the studio and spoke with Donna, Lori, Danny, Timmy, Neal and Edith about that.
