On December 7 every year, people of India celebrate Armed Forces Flag Day and honour the soldiers who safeguard the country. On this day, vehicle flags are distributed in dark blue, light blue and red colours, representing the Army, Air Force and Navy. Funds are collected for the armed forces and their families.
